Mario Martinez Jr. (CEO) and Viveka Von Rosen (chief visibility officer) founded Vengreso five years ago as a digital sales prospecting training company. FlyMSG was built as a companion tool for sellers to leverage prospecting messages online. But since discovering that the majority of its users were not in sales, but in fact varied across many industries, Vengreso has undergone a soft pivot to focus solely on the FlyMSG tool. However, the market for project management software — specifically text expander and autofill tools — is growing fast and has an increasing number of well funded competitors. This, along with difficulty pivoting, are some of the biggest obstacles Vengreso faces.
