Who Should Be Interested:
Do you like the options of a food court, but wish it had a more restaurant-like feel? Do you like trying innovative new restaurant concepts? And -- do you live in Houston? If this sounds like you, then investing in Bravery Chef Hall might be for you. They’re a “chef hall,” or a next generation food hall with a chef-driven focus, and they’re coming to the Aris Market Square high-rise in downtown Houston.

The Company:
Bravery Hall is taking the concept of a food hall to the next level. They aim to be the first-of-its kind “chef hall,” which they envision to be a food hall -- but with a chef-driven focus. Their 9,000 square foot space will offer clients five chef-driven concepts, as well as three bars, all under one roof. The bars will include a wine bar, a molecular cocktail bar, and a patio bar. Located in downtown Houston and set to open in summer 2018, Bravery will be the anchor tenant in the new Aris Market Square high-rise, which is directly across from the Market Square Park. Bravery was created by the founders of the Conservatory Underground Beer Garden & Food Hall and Pax Americana, and they’ve already chosen chefs Gary Ly, Chef de Cuisine from Underbelly, Ben McPherson, founder of Krisp Bird & Batter, and David Guerrero, owner of Andes Café to launch three of the five concepts.

The Bottom Line:
Bravery Chef Hall is living up to its name with this innovative concept of a next-generation food hall. Bravery is the first of its kind to provide these types of chef-driven concepts with the structure and environment to experiment and develop a business. They’re truly trying something new...and they’re revolutionizing what it means to be a “restaurant.”
