About this raise: Crooked City Cider is here to bring cider to the people! Known as Oakland, California’s original cider, Crooked City produces a variety of dry craft ciders that are as drinkable as beers. They’re the first cidery since prohibition, and they’re the only Bay Area cidery producing all-natural ciders with no added juice or sugar. Crooked City plans on producing 5000 gallons of cider this year, which is quite the growth considering they started in the basement of the founder’s house. While these ciders are currently available at select Oakland bars and restaurants, as well as at their shared tasting room, this campaign is to help Crooked City grow their cider production, increase distribution, add a line of canned cider, and open additional tap rooms (including one with 25 taps of cider!) around the Bay Area.
