Detonation Space
[Closed for Investment] Detonation Space, with a valuation cap of $15 million, is raising funds on StartEngine. The company is developing rotating detonation engines that are thermodynamically more efficient than conventional engines. The Detonation Space engines will be able to provide longer flight times to drones, more passenger accommodation to planes, and more carrying capacity to rockets. Umit Yelken founded Detonation Space in October 2020. The current crowdfunding round has a minimum goal of $10,000 and a maximum goal of $1,070,000, and the proceeds will be used to establish a test facility and grow. Detonation Space aims to unlock global mobility with its engine suitable for hypersonic jets. The technology will help to increase the efficiency of aerospace vehicles and decrease the cost per kilogram of payload.
