dexFreight, with a valuation of $37 million, is raising funds on Republic. The company has developed a market network for freight companies to handle shipments from booking to payment using smart contracts. The platform connects freight brokers, carriers, shippers, and other members of the supply chain. dexFreight has a network of 2,419 carriers, 620 shippers, and 1,309 brokers and posted 42 million shipments in 2021. Jim Handoush, Rajat Rajbhandari, Hector Hernandez, Adrian Giannini, and Ricardo Escobar founded dexFreight in October 2018. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $25,000 and a maximum target of $3.93 million. The campaign proceeds will be used for business development in the US and LATAM, research and development, expansion of customer success operations, and infrastructure maintenance.
