Genesis Cafe, an upcoming coffee shop in Indianapolis, IN, is raising funds on MainVest. The company has already established a brand and membership base as The Speak Easy and now plans to capitalize on it to set up a cafe. The cafe will allow consumers to buy coffee and purchase day passes to get access to the collaborative workspace. Hascall Shaffer II founded Genesis Cafe in February 2021. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum raise of $25,000 and a maximum raise of $30,000, will be used to purchase equipment and pay for overhead expenses for three months. Genesis Cafe will be located within the coworking space, including four separate meeting rooms and one large conference room.
