About this raise
Her Song is raising funds on Wefunder. It is a funny feature film about a Franco-American author, Olivia, returning to her ancestral village in France to write the story of her grandmother. Olivia then becomes enchanted by a local French woman, Madeline, who becomes the face of her new novel. Her Song stars Kalki Koechlin, a well-known and award-winning Indian actress, as Olivia and is being produced by Oscar-winning James Ivory. John Keller and Elea Clair founded Her Song in April 2024. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $50,000 and a maximum target of $1 million. The campaign proceeds will be used for pre-production expenses, crew and cast, artistic rights, decor and costumes, equipment, post-production expenses, and marketing.
