The horror! The horror!
….The Horror Equity Fund, that is! The Horror Equity Fund, Inc. (HEF), is a fan-enabled community that offers horror fans the chance to become investors in the genre they love. HEF is not a production company; rather, it curates, develops, and accelerates to market projects in various media and transmedia categories. It then offers investors the chance to participate in and profit from those projects. HEF has established a cross-collateralized, diversified portfolio and profit participation strategy that mitigates risk and increases the opportunity for the highest return on investment.
HEF is also the first time that the world of horror will be aggregated in a single virtual location. That location -- called the Federation of Horror -- is where professionals, fans, horror merchandise, and information can exist side by side in a social media-driven “stocked game preserve.” HEF and the Federation provide a “horror community,” where fans, content creators, and investors can be transparent, honest, and creative together about furthering their favorite entertainment genre. And no one is left out -- HEF covers all horror types, from ghost stories and the occult to psychological thrillers.
And HEF knows what it’s doing. Its team is comprised of the top professionals in entertainment, gaming, film, and production, and the company is backed by industry talent such as Bill Oberst, Jr. and Sean Patrick Flannery. Add in the fact that horror is a $7 billion market, has the highest return on investment in film, and HEF is providing something that doesn’t currently exist, and you realize just how much potential HEF has when it comes to being the future of horror.
The bottom line is that HEF means business. Awesome business. Horror-awesome business. They’re bringing a breath of fresh air into Hollywood with their model. So if you want a little slice of some horror-ific action -- now’s your chance. After all….who doesn’t love a good investment when it’s (bloody) brilliant?
“Who Should Be Interested in This Offer:”
If you love anything horror, or if you’ve always wanted to star as an extra in a film (investor perk!), then investing in the Horror Equity Fund might be just what you’re looking for. With horror having the highest ROI for films, and HEF creating a community for fans, investors, and creators alike, this company is innovative and exciting. Invest with HEF, and you will very likely find that investing in screams of fright will also leave you to shrieks of delight.
