Step-by-Step Guide to Using the Deal Explorer
Step 1: Access the Deal Explorer
Navigate to the Deal Explorer by clicking here or by selecting “Explore” from the main menu on the Kingscrowd website.
Step 2: Familiarize Yourself with the Interface
Upon entering the Deal Explorer, you’ll notice two main sections:
- Filters Panel (Left Side): This is where you can set your investment criteria.
- Deals Display (Right Side): This area showcases the companies that match your selected filters.
Step 3: Set Your Investment Criteria
a. Filter by Rating
- In the filters panel, find the “Kingscrowd Rating” section.
- Select ratings 4 and above by checking the corresponding boxes. This ensures you’re viewing top-rated investment opportunities.
b. Filter by Valuation
- Scroll down to the “Valuation” filter.
- Input your desired valuation range by setting the minimum to $5 million and the maximum to $20 million.
Step 4: Explore the Filtered Deals
As you adjust the filters, the deals displayed on the right will automatically update to reflect your criteria. Each deal card provides a snapshot of the company, including:
- Company Name
- Industry
- Funding Platform
- Kingscrowd Rating
- Amount Raised
- Time Left in Campaign
Step 5: Dive Deeper into a Deal
Click on any deal that piques your interest to access a detailed analysis. Here, you’ll find:
- Business Overview: Understand what the company does and its mission.
- Team Background: Learn about the founders and key team members.
- Market Analysis: Get insights into the industry and market potential.
- Financials: Review financial statements and projections.
- Risks and Challenges: Be aware of potential hurdles the company may face.

Step 6: Make an Informed Investment Decision
After reviewing the detailed information:
- Add to Watchlist: If you’re interested but not ready to invest, add the deal to your watchlist for easy access later.
- Proceed to Invest: If you decide to invest, click the “View Deal” button to be redirected to the funding platform hosting the deal.
