About this raise
HyGen is raising funds on StartEngine through Reg A+ crowdfunding. The company aims to develop and build three renewable hydrogen fuelling stations in cooperation with the California Energy Commission. HyGen is a part of the State of California’s Advanced Clean Car program and plans to obtain additional grants to develop its fuelling stations. Paul Staples founded HyGen in 2014. The current crowdfunding campaign has a maximum target of $20 million. The campaign proceeds will be used for operating costs, working capital, management compensation, Phase 1 hardware and install costs, and payments of bridge notes.
