JD’s House of Bacon is raising funds on Honeycomb. The food business specializes in European Slab Bacon and skewers them into appetizer sizes. JD’s House of Bacon supplies its bacon to food trucks and festivals and is the only USDA-skewered bacon manufacturer in the US. The business also has a hot sauce line and will be introducing a new bacon jerky line by the end of 2024. David Distenfeld and Joshua Distenfeld founded JD’s House of Bacon in April 2018. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $50,000 and a maximum target of $100,000. The campaign proceeds will be used for inventory, labor, new products roll out, and job supplies.
