The Team
You would be joining our growing technology team. We are dedicated to the creation and ongoing enhancement of our public websites and backend tools. The team is dispersed across the continental United States and entirely remote.
We are responsible for the development and optimization of all technologies (ETL, API, public sites, tools) across the organization. This responsibility includes both the programming and delivery of new requests as well as the identification of new optimizations to our business and technology stack.
The team plays a central role in the organization, collaborating with every department. This collaboration manifests itself in helping to shape incoming ideas, as well as propose solutions to other challenges in our business.

Job Description
We are looking for a mid-level Javascript Engineer to join our team and help us build the future of data-driven alternative investing. In this role, you will be building new features as well as maintaining existing codebases for our portfolio of public websites and tools.
New work will be developed in Vue/Nuxt and Tailwind CSS, connecting to our backend APIs. In addition, you will support bug fixes and feature enhancement as needed on our existing WordPress instances.
You will play an active role in determining a feature’s specification, level-of-effort, and deadlines.
Your work will be overseen by a senior member of the team. This oversight will both ensure features align to expectations as well as provide mentorship and career development. In turn, you will be expected to provide the same mentorship and career development to more junior members of the team.
Based on the needs of the task or project and your experience level, you may find yourself working alongside other developers, or at times, working alone.
You will also partner closely and learn from other roles in the organization, such as: research or investment analysts, data scientists, marketers, and product designers.

Responsibilities
– Collaborate with other technologists, product leads, designers, and other team members to brainstorm new technical solutions that meet customer needs.
– Integrate API services with Vue.js based on front end needs.
– Mentor junior members of the development team through hands-on leadership, PR approvals, code reviews, and setting an example with best-in-class development.

Qualifications
– 3+ years of client-side web development experience
– Experience in Vue.js development frameworks is required
– A history of writing SEO focused, W3C compliant HTML5
– Experience with modern CSS and SCSS
– Understanding and demonstrated handling of cross-platform, cross-browser compatibility
– Examples of securely integrating Javascript-driven applications with REST based APIs
– Experience with version control
– Experience developing, delivering and maintaining a SPA based application
– Strong presentation, communication, and collaboration skills

Job Description
We are looking for a mid-level Backend Software Engineer to join our growing team of technologists. In your role you will focus your time designing, implementing, and optimizing services and API solutions for our consumer sites and internal tools.
You will be working largely with Laravel/Lumen in an AWS ecosystem that also includes technologies such as RDS, ElasticCache, S3, Lambda, Various AI cognitive services, and more.

– Strong understanding of web architectures and various design patterns
– 3+ years of experience building backend web services in Laravel, Lumen, or other PHP-based frameworks

The Team
You would be joining a small team within engineering that regularly cross-collaborates with the product, investment, and marketing teams. The engineering team is decentralized and entirely remote.
Along with quality assurance, the customer success role focuses on maintaining and improving both internal and external company practices and efficiencies, not just those in the engineering department. We work closely with everyone at KingsCrowd to ensure that company, industry, and customer standards are exceeded.

The Role
The ideal customer success candidate will have a mindset for both customer management and product support. In addition to the standard duty of answering phone calls, emails, or chat messages from customers, they will collect data, analyze trends, and share results. A keen insight to the customer’s behavior through data is required when sharing the table with our strategists, developers, and analysts to find ways of improving our overall product. We expect this role to develop and expand around the needs of our customers and our company. The ideal candidate would be able to facilitate those changes as they see fit.

– Collaborate with marketing and content teams to maintain awareness of current offers and communications.
– Monitor phone & chat services roughly between the hours of 9 am – 5 pm EST, Mon-Fri. & respond to customer emails in a timely manner.
– Create and maintain detailed records of all direct customer interactions through our customer service portal.
– Assist in monitoring online customer tracking tools to identify user trends and funnels.
– Analyze customer data to provide current trends, insights, and recommendations for different teams.
– Take initiative on new features or practices to help improve your department and the experience of our customers.
– Participate in product and content meetings to stay up-to-date with the company roadmap and to help launch new initiatives.
