Mivium, with a valuation of $22.6 million, is raising funds on Equifund CFP. It is a material science company developing its patented technology to make high-quality gallium nitride. Mivium has a highly differentiated product with a low carbon footprint that is aimed at being used in the semiconductors industry. The Mivium gallium nitride particles are expected to cost less with no harmful environmental impact and will generate higher yield and purity. Eric Tsai and Rick Qiu founded Mivium in July 2022. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $20,000 and a maximum target of $5 million. The campaign proceeds will be used for research and development, sales and marketing, IP development and protection, cybersecurity, working capital, and general corporate purposes.
