NeuraMetrix, with a valuation of $9.4 million, is raising funds on NetCapital. The company has developed a platform that uses typing to measure brain health and detect neurological diseases. NeuraMetrix’s non-invasive tool measures the consistency of typing and connects it to assess and detect psychiatric disorders and neurological diseases to help researchers and doctors get early signals of whether a drug can succeed. NeuraMetrix currently markets to pharma companies and gets orders from research institutions. Jan Samzelius and Christian Olsson founded NeuraMetrix in February 2022. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $10,008 and a maximum target of $1.2 million. The campaign proceeds will be used for personnel, travel, conferences, product development, data storage, research studies, translations to other languages, and marketing.
