20/20 GeneSystems, with a pre-money valuation of $38.5 million, is raising funds on SeedInvest through Reg A+ crowdfunding. It is a diagnostics company with a successful track record in cancer detection with its AI-powered multi-cancer blood test, OneTest. The company has recently launched CoronaCheck, its FDA-authorized antibody lab test for COVID-19 antibodies. 20/20 GeneSystems was founded by Jonathan Cohen and has raised over $10 million in previous rounds of financing. The current round of funding has a round size of $14,700,000. The proceeds will be used for sales and marketing, research and development, intellectual property development and protection, and cybersecurity and patient privacy protections. 20/20 GeneSystems has already sold over 70,000 COVID-19 antibody tests since its launch in March 2020 and generated over $1.2 million in revenue.

 

Parallel Flight Technologies

Parallel Flight Technologies, with a pre-money valuation of $18 million, is raising funds on Wefunder through Reg A+ crowdfunding. The company makes drones that lift more and fly longer and can be used for unmanned fire support, medical supply logistics, agricultural applications, and more. The drones run on revolutionary parallel hybrid propulsion systems and carry loads that are ten times heavier than traditional drones. Parallel Flight Technologies was founded by Joshua Resnick, Bobby Hulter, and David M Adams and has raised over $1.7 million since its founding. The current round of funding has a minimum target of $50,000 and a maximum target of $1,500,000. Parallel Flight Technologies has partnered with NASA and NSF and has received the SBIR grant.

 

Cytonics Corporation

Cytonics Corporation, with a pre-money valuation of $46.7 million, is raising funds on SeedInvest through Reg A+ crowdfunding. The company is a leader in regenerative medicine and has developed innovative therapies for musculoskeletal diseases like osteoarthritis. Cytonics has created an Autologous Platelet Integrated Concentration system concentrating A2M from patients’ blood to treat their own damaged joints. Cytonics Corporation was founded by Gaetano Scuderi and has raised over $15 million in previous rounds of financing. The current round of funding has a minimum raise of $1,500,000 and a maximum raise of $19,000,000. The funds will be used for GMP production of CYT-108, GLP preclinical animal study, Phase 1 human clinical trial, and Phase 2 human clinical trial. Cytonics Corporation has already initiated a pilot pre-clinical study for its lead drug candidate CYT-108 in 2019. It is a biologic therapy modeled after the naturally occurring A2M molecule found in the blood.

 

Element Apothec

Element Apothec, with a $4 million valuation cap, is raising funds on Wefunder. The company makes innovative CBD body care and wellness products. The products adhere to the “never, ever promise” of the company stating that Element Apothec will never use harmful or toxic substances. The Element Apothec products use a proprietary blend of THC-free hemp-derived CBD, CBN, and CBG, essential oils, and natural ingredients. The company was founded by Davina Fernholtz and David Crowther in 2020 and has raised over $40,000 since its inception. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum goal of $50,000 and a maximum goal of $500,000. The funds will be used for expenses related to packaging, raw materials, and manufacturing, for marketing, business development, and strategic partnerships. Element Apothec is launching over ten experience-tested products in the market and is dedicated to the highest standards of quality and trust.

 

Creative 3D Technologies

Creative 3D Technologies, with a valuation cap of $4.5 million, is raising funds on MicroVentures. The company is focused on manufacturing innovative 3D printing technology. Duo, the 3D printer of Creative 3D Technologies, features a high build volume and provides support for fine layer resolutions. Creative 3D Technologies was founded by Ethan Baehrend in 2017 and raised $35,000 in its pre-seed round of funding in the same year. The current round of crowdfunding has a minimum raise of $50,000 and a maximum raise of $1,070,000. The proceeds will be used for marketing, equipment purchases, manufacturing, and research and development. Creative 3D Technologies has been featured in over 20 media outlets, including 3Dprint.com and Technori, and has a long expressed interest list of customers.

 

Dollaride

Dollaride, with a valuation cap of $8 million, is raising funds on Republic. The company is revolutionizing rideshare by offering public transit through its superior transportation at only $2 a ride. It makes use of the network of local commuter van drivers to meet the demand for mobility solutions. Dollaride was founded by Su Sanni and Chris Coles in December 2016. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum target of $25,000 and a maximum target of $1,070,000, will be used to activate more local drivers, grow the driver network and service territory, and capture more market share. Dollaride reported a 341% year-over-year growth in revenue from 2019 to 2020 and already has over 200 drivers on its platform with more than 800 rides taken.

 

Studio IPlay

Studio IPlay, an indoor playground in the Detroit metro area, is raising funds on Honeycomb. The play area offers fun art classes for kids under the age of ten and keeps them engaged with interactive play. Studio IPlay offers Paint & Play to inspire self-expression and creativity. Studio IPlay was founded by Kandis Hall, a mother of a young daughter with a Master’s degree in Leadership and Administration. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum goal of $10,000 and a maximum goal of $25,000, and the funds will be used for new equipment, cleaning equipment, new decorations, marketing, and rent and insurance. Studio IPlay is renowned for its birthday parties and is the home of the best Halloween and Easter kiddie discos in Michigan.

 

Fog & Tree

Fog & Tree, with a valuation cap of $2.5 million, is raising funds on MicroVentures. The company makes personal products infused with cannabis oils and cannabinoids. The products are natural, with a versatile fragrance that has several olfactory benefits. The product line of Fog & Tree includes Eau de Parfum, CBD Beard Conditioner, and Hair Mask Treatment. Fog & Tree was founded by Elizabeth Kost and Jason Foraker in 2018 and has raised over $200,000 in previous rounds of financing. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $50,000 and a maximum target of $250,000. The funds will be used for general marketing, manufacturing, sampling program, and future wages. Fog & Tree has run two successful promos with Touch of Modern and has signed retail agreements with many brick-and-mortar businesses.

 

Frog Juice

Frog Juice, a beverage company in Knoxville, TN, is raising funds on MainVest. The company makes organic artisanal small-batch Kombucha, Jun, and Fire Cider, using fair trade and local ingredients. It is the only Kombucha brewery within two hours of Knoxville and is on track to be the primary Kombucha supplier to restaurants and retailers in the area. Frog Juice was founded by Frog Greishaw in 2014 in Chicago and relocated to Knoxville in 2017. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum goal of $50,000 and a maximum goal of $250,000, will be used to expand brewing operations and distributions by purchasing a new location. Frog Juice plans to grow and contribute to the community by opening The Denton Hotel. The hotel will have a tasting room, full-service bar, and expanded brewing capacity.

 

Madeleine Bakery and Bistro

Madeleine Bakery and Bistro, a small French bakery in Pittsburgh, is raising funds on Honeycomb. The local bakery makes top-quality and delicious French baked goods, including cookies, macarons, and baguettes. The company has also grown a wholesale business supplying classic baked goods to 9-10 local businesses. Madeleine Bakery and Bistro is owned by Andrew Stump and Abigail Stump, with degrees and passion in culinary arts. The current round of crowdfunding has a minimum raise of $15,000 and a maximum raise of $75,000, and the funds will be used to obtain some working capital during the COVID-19 shutdown. Roots & Vine Produce & Cafe

Roots & Vine Produce & Cafe, with an estimated valuation of $215,000, is raising on Buy The Block. The company works as a cashless market at the convenience store level. It is connecting farmers to people and people to real food and is revolutionizing neighborhood convenience shopping.
