Greenzone Pharms LLC

Greenzone Pharms, with a pre-money valuation of $5 million, is raising funds on Fundanna Crowdfunding. The company is a licensed grower of hemp in Wisconsin and the first CBD hemp processor in Illinois. Greenzone Pharms uses techniques like cloning, genetics, and CO2 supercritical oil extraction to create CBD-infused products. Greenzone Pharms was founded by Dan Marlow and has Mike Gawinski as the facilities foreman. The current round of crowdfunding has a minimum goal of $10,000 and a maximum goal of $1,070,000, and the proceeds will be used towards marketing and advertising, inventory, equipment, staffing, and operating expenses. Greenzone Pharms is leading among its peers because of its high-quality formulations and beautiful packaging of CBD and hemp products.

Incluzion

Incluzion, with a $2.5 million valuation cap, is raising funds on WeFunder. It is a diversity-focused company that connects companies with minority talent, including Blacks, Latinos, and females. It provides flexible earning options and economic growth opportunities to the marginalized groups and empowers them. Incluzion was founded by Jibril Sulaiman and has raised over $50,000 since its inception. The proceeds of the current round of crowdfunding, with a minimum target of $20,000 and a maximum target of $107,000, will be used for research and development, marketing, staffing, business development, working capital, and legal expenses. In addition to being a freelance talent marketplace, Incluzion also provides a social community for the talent to network, share, and collaborate.

Avalon Lounge and Game Cafe

Avalon Lounge and Game Cafe, an upcoming restaurant, bar, and game store in Holyoke, MA, is raising funds on MainVest. It has already identified a loyal customer base in Holyoke that is waiting for new family-style restaurants. The offerings of Avalon Lounge and Game Cafe will include special game nights, a gaming space, good food, a full bar, and a huge library of board games. Avalon Lounge and Game Cafe was founded by Melissa Lewis-Gentry, Neal Robinson, Sara Williams, and Michael S. Dow, with a combined 80 years of experience in the restaurant industry. The current round of crowdfunding of Avalon has a minimum goal of $75,000 and a maximum goal of $100,000, and the funds will be used to finish construction, buy inventory, and outfit the restaurant. Avalon Lounge and Game Cafe is coming up at an excellent location, with proven demand and high competitive advantage.

Lifograph

Lifograph, with a valuation cap of $7 million, is raising funds on WeFunder. It is a free online networking platform for people and companies. Lifograph builds relationship maps and matches people and companies based on their skills, needs, and real-life relationships. The data can be used to find employees, service providers, customers, investors, and much more. Lifograph was founded by Dea Wilson and has raised over $500,000 since its founding. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round of Lifograph, with a minimum raise of $50,000 and a maximum raise of $300,000, will be used towards data acquisition, marketing, and customer acquisition. The platform has already grown to over 7 million profiles and more than 4.7 million connections and has been featured in Forbes, The Next Web, Investor Business Daily, etc.

Wearwell

Wearwell, with a valuation cap of $8 million, is raising funds on Republic. It provides a unique subscription service that helps users buy sustainable and ethically-made clothing. Wearwell sends a selection of products monthly to the users in a digital form, and they can purchase the ones they like through the Wearwell platform. The company was founded by Erin Houston and Emily Kenney in January 2020 and raised $200,000 in its pre-seed round of funding. The current crowdfunding round has a minimum target of $25,000 and a maximum target of $1,070,000, and the funds will be used to scale up the business. Wearwell currently has over 500 monthly members and a retention rate of 96%. The company has experienced a 20% growth in membership month-over-month and is on track to reach $17 million in revenues by 2022.

Jetoptera

Jetoptera, with a valuation cap of $24 million, is raising funds on MicroVentures. The company has multiple unique patents, including its fluidic propulsive system, that can be combined to create a simpler, faster, quieter, and more compact aircraft. The unique propulsion system of Jetoptera is engineered for short and vertical takeoff and landing applications. Jetoptera was founded by Denis Dancanet, Andrei Evulet, and Simina Farcasiu in 2015 and has raised over $5 million since its inception. Jetoptera already has partnerships with the US Navy and General Electric Aviation and was featured in the Dubai Airshow in November 2019.

Xin Chao

Xin Chao, a unique Vietnamese restaurant in Houston, Texas, is raising funds on NextSeed. The restaurant will feature a versatile menu with high-quality ingredients, specialty cocktails, and contemporary ambiance. The food at Xin Chao aims to transform traditional Vietnamese cuisine into a sophisticated and modern dining experience. The restaurant was founded by MasterChef winner Christina Ha and renowned Chef Tony J. Nguyen and is expected to open in May 2020. The current round of crowdfunding has a minimum target of $75,000 and a maximum target of $107,000, and the proceeds will be used towards construction, bar renovations, kitchen renovations, inventory, furniture, and working capital. The owners of Xin Chao have a proven track record of owning and operating successful Vietnamese establishments. The current round of crowdfunding has a minimum goal of $150,000 and a maximum goal of $1,000,000, and the funds will be used towards sales, marketing, business development, raw materials, and working capital. Calyx Cultivation Tech is developing a groundbreaking technology that will revolutionize the farming and agriculture industry.

Pippy Sips

Pippy Sips, with a $2.5 million valuation cap, is raising funds on WeFunder. The company has created Maia, an all-in-one system for storing, transporting, cooling, and monitoring breast milk. The pumped breast milk can be stored safely in Maia for 24 hours, with a constant check on its temperature. Mindcurrent already has over 25,000 beta users in 40 countries and has been rated 5 stars. It is being used by law enforcement agencies, universities, nonprofits serving veterans, and finance companies.

Curastory

Curastory, with a $6 million valuation cap, is raising funds on WeFunder. It is the first marketplace that is connecting video content to media buyers. The Curastory platform will be used to monetize video content by influencers as they can upload their video content on the platform, and the Curastory technology generates a listing for media buyers to browse and place a bid on. Curastory was founded by Tiffany Kelly in the summer of 2019. The current round of crowdfunding has a minimum target of $50,000 and a maximum target of $300,000, and the proceeds will be used to build a fully functional web application, hire a part-time developer, a full-time developer, and a full-time designer, and launch the application around April 2020. Curastory is growing by 50% month-over-month in terms of site visits and signups and had about 100 signups in the past five months.

ASK Education

ASK Education, with a post-money valuation of $2.69 million, is raising funds on NetCapital. It is an education technology company that builds games and lessons around team building, ethics, problem-solving, communication, and health and wellness. The ASK Education technology allows users to interact with and learn from one another. ASK Education was founded by Ruth E Nemire, John P Rigoli, and Brad W Nemire. The current round of crowdfunding has a minimum goal of $10,000 and a maximum goal of $107,000, and the funds will be used towards compensation for managers, designers, developers, and consultants, marketing, human resource solutions, and technology and software. ASK Education will prepare individuals for the 21st-century skills and will create an education community.

Event Hollow

Event Hollow, with a $6 million valuation cap, is raising funds on Republic. It is a marketplace for planning weddings, and its platform enables instant transactions related to all things wedding. The couples get to curate their wedding vendors by style, view availability and pricing, book the services and pay on the same platform. Event Hollow was founded by Jen Edmon and David Stone-Resneck in December 2018. The current round of crowdfunding has a minimum target of $50,000 and a maximum target of $1,070,000, and the proceeds will be used towards marketing and building deeper sophistication into the client-vendor matching algorithm. Event Hollow is led by the team with a combined experience of planning over 600 weddings in the past ten years. The company has over 250 active users and has curated more than 350 vendors in the Bay Area.
