Mosquito Steve, with a post-money valuation of $1.5 million, is raising crowdfunding on NetCapital. The company uses innovative solutions and versatile product designs to make all-natural, chemical-free insect repellants. The product line includes repellents against mosquitoes, ticks, fleas, and flies. Steve Moore and Walter Dahlberg founded Mosquito Steve in May 2020. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum target of $10,000 and a maximum target of $107,000, will be used towards compensation for managers, product development, marketing, promotion for online sales, and samples for horse and cattle. Mosquito Steve has a patented sprayer that combines the natural repellant with top of the line technology to keep yards, homes, and businesses insect-free.

 

PDX FC

PDX FC, with a pre-money valuation of $800,000, is raising funds on Wefunder. The football club provides elite soccer playing opportunities for Portland’s aspiring players. PDX FC landed Hummel as its official uniform and apparel supplier in the first year of its existence. Lucas and Max Babson founded PDX FC in February 2017. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum raise of $50,000 and a maximum raise of $240,000. The funds will be used for operations of the team, facility rentals, and League dues. PDX FC is creating a new community-based soccer model and is allowing fans to support their favorite club.

 

Solgaard

Solgaard, with a pre-money valuation of $24.2 million, is raising funds on StartEngine. The company makes innovative travel and lifestyle gear by upcycling ocean plastic into its proprietary fabric, Shore-Tex. The products of Solgaard cater to the travel, work, and home needs of modern customers looking for sustainability. Adrian Solgaard and Chris Cavill founded Solgaard in 2012. The current crowdfunding round has a minimum goal of $10,000 and a maximum goal of $1,070,000. The proceeds will be used to diversify the product offering, activate new marketing tactics, grow the inventory, and develop new materials. Solgaard has been awarded Time Magazines’ Best Inventions 2018 and FastCompany’s World-Changing Ideas 2020. The company tripled its sales from 2018 to 2019 and achieved a 465% e-commerce growth from 2019 to YTD 2020.

 

This Land

This Land, a film that chronicles American life in 2020 around Election Day, is raising crowdfunding on Wefunder. The film is focused on creating a time capsule of this precise moment in history and highlighting American diversity. Brian Gagliardi and Matthew Palmer founded This Land in August 2020. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding campaign, with a minimum raise of $55,000 and a maximum raise of $107,000, will be used for production and post-production expenses, marketing, publicity, and social impact campaign. This Land is led by an experienced production company that has successfully sold and distributed multiple films.

 

O2 Treehouse

O2 Treehouse, with a pre-money valuation of $9.5 million, is raising funds on StartEngine. The company builds exciting treehouses that bring people back to nature in a beautiful way. It has a proprietary and proven building system that makes designing and constructing treehouses extremely efficient and modular. Dustin Feider founded O2 Treehouse in 2005. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum raise of $10,000 and a maximum raise of $250,000. The proceeds of the raise will be used to launch and establish the Treewalkers Hospitality brand for franchising the treehouse rentals business. O2 Treehouse has built over 85 treehouses and has been featured by many TV shows and design publications, including HGTV and NBC News.

 

AlwaysNear TeleHealth

AlwaysNear TeleHealth, with a valuation cap of $5.56 million, is raising crowdfunding on Wefunder. It is a SaaS operation that allows professional care providers, family caregivers, and care facilities to receive preventative alerts for seniors’ decline conditions. It is an affordable and efficient telehealth offering for both patients and their caregivers. Tyce Fitzmorris, Jeremy Winfree, and Peg Pickett founded AlwaysNear TeleHealth in 2014. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum goal of $50,000 and a maximum goal of $249,999, will be used for salaries, rent, trial hardware, and accounting and legal expenses. AlwaysNear TeleHealth has a white-label business model with minimal operating costs and exponential revenue growth.

 

Swingman Thoroughbred

Swingman Thoroughbred, with a pre-money valuation of $100, is raising funds on Wefunder. The company will acquire an ownership interest in Swingman, a two-year-old colt out of Eternal Grace by Tonalist. After acquiring the ownership, Swingman Thoroughbred will manage the horse and decisions related to it, including its training, races, breeding opportunities, stud services, and eventual sale. George Hall founded Swingman Thoroughbred in September 2020. The current crowdfunding round has a minimum target of $50,000 and a maximum target of $325,000. The proceeds will be used to purchase interests in Swingman and set aside for working capital. The Swingman is a horse with a strong pedigree on both sides of the family and is about to embark on its racing career.

 

Tepeyolot Cerveceria

Tepeyolot Cerveceria, an upcoming brewery in Jacksonville, Florida, is raising funds on MainVest. It is an Aztec-themed 7-barrel brewpub coming to San Marco’s Kings Avenue. The brewpub will offer craft beer and light Mexican fare. The beer will be served out of serving tanks located in the cooler and as pints in the taproom. Tepeyolot Cerveceria was founded by Luis Melgarejo in July 2019. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding campaign, with a minimum goal of $25,000 and a maximum goal of $200,000, will be used to purchase equipment and finalize renovations at the brewery. Tepeyolot Cerveceria will be located in one of Jacksonville’s oldest and upcoming neighborhoods. The brewery will focus on the highest quality beer and food and will grow a steady local customer base.

 

EncrypGen

EncrypGen, with a $6 million valuation cap, is raising crowdfunding on Fundopolis. The technology at EncrypGen helps to privately store users’ genetic data so that users can store and sell their de-identified data to researchers in exchange for a cryptocurrency. EncrypGen does not levy any cost to users for storing data but takes 10% of the sale price as a commission. David Koepsell founded EncrypGen in January 2018. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding campaign, with a minimum raise of $25,000 and a maximum raise of $107,000, will be used to acquire new users. EncrypGen has a user base of over 1,100 who have uploaded 767 files that have been purchased 175 times for an average price of $15 each. The company is connecting customers to researchers with total control over rights, privacy, and transparency.

 

Vymedic

Vymedic, with a post-money valuation of $23 million, is raising crowdfunding on NetCapital. The company has manufactured Vymune, a broad-spectrum antiviral, that beats other treatments in the suppression of influenza. Vymune is not strain-specific and activates the immune system against the illness. Cynthia Winning founded Vymedic in March 2020. The current crowdfunding round has a minimum goal of $10,000 and a maximum goal of $1,070,000, and the proceeds will be used for hiring, manufacturing, and marketing. The product of Vymedic is patented, natural, and made up of amino acids, bioflavonoids, and co-factors. It is safe to use for children, elderly, pregnant women, and immunosuppressed individuals.

 

Ratio

Ratio, with a valuation cap of $6 million, is raising funds on Republic. The company designs and manufactures intuitive coffee machines for an excellent home brew coffee solution. The machines of Ratio make delicious coffee irrespective of variables like water temperature, extraction time, and pour over pattern. Mark Hellweg founded Ratio in August 2017 and has raised over $4 million in previous rounds of financing. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $25,000 and a maximum target of $1,070,000. Ratio reached its first profitable month in December 2019 and expects to generate $1.5 million in revenue by the end of 2020. The company has already sold over 5,000 units and generated $2.5 million in lifetime revenues.

 

GroundLion Brewing Company

GroundLion Brewing Company, an upcoming craft brewery in Seagrove, NC, is raising funds on MainVest. It will be the first local brewery in Seagrove, offering high-quality, unique, rye-focused, carefully-crafted beer. The community members will come together at the brewery to expand their knowledge of beer, including its history, styles, and tastes. GroundLion Brewing Company was founded by Samuel Brown III and Samuel Brown IV, a father-son duo passionate about brewing craft beer. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum raise of $50,000 and a maximum raise of $250,000, will be used to complete the renovation of the location, purchase equipment, and establish contingency funds. GroundLion Brewing Company is gathering permits and licenses and is excited to launch its offerings to the community.

 

Pit Boss

Pit Boss, a pit-style bbq restaurant in Georgia, is raising crowdfunding on Honeycomb. The restaurant specializes in homestyle favorites and is committed to serving authentic superior-quality food. It is a total scratch kitchen that uses fresh meats and dry rubs. Wade McSwain and Tracy founded Pit Boss in 2008. The current crowdfunding round has a minimum target of $25,000 and a maximum target of $300,000, and the funds will be used for the buildout of the new location of the restaurant. It will allow the restaurant to set more plates and serve more guests. Pit Boss also believes in strengthening the community by supporting heritage, education, and community development.

 

Yerbae

Yerbae, with a pre-money valuation of $33.9 million, is raising crowdfunding on StartEngine. The company makes plant-based, zero-calorie, enhanced sparkling water. The beverage of Yerbae comes bursting with flavor and functionality, and helps in digestion, boosting metabolism, cardiovascular health, and increased physical endurance. Todd Gibson and Karrie Gibson founded Yerbae in August 2020. The current crowdfunding campaign of the company has a minimum raise of $9,998.08 and a maximum raise of $1,069,942.22. Yerbae has sold over 10 million cans across the country since its launch and has grown 333% in net sales since 2017. It has multiple retail partners, including WaWa, Circle K, Walmart, and Safeway, and is starting new distribution relationships with Pepsi.
