GreenChoice has a database of more than 360,000 grocery products and more than 40,000 organic monthly users with 18% month-over-month growth. Galen Karlan-Mason founded GreenChoice in March 2018. The campaign proceeds will be used for retaining the current team, hiring, marketing, servers, and office software.

 

Africa Eats

Africa Eats, with a valuation of $300,000, is raising funds on Wefunder. It is a for-profit organization tackling hunger and poverty in Africa. The Africa Eats platform has 27 vetted and trained companies that are processors, aggregators, and distributors of food to help provide food and food-related services to the poor in Africa. The portfolio companies of Africa Eats generated aggregate revenues of $9.8 million in 2020, up 61% year-over-year since 2014. Luni Libes and Jumaane Tafawa founded Africa Eats in November 2021. The campaign proceeds will be used for creating shared savings and insurance services and purchasing solar, trucks, and other equipment needed by the company.

 

Aladdin

Aladdin, with a valuation of $9 million, is raising funds on Wefunder. It is Africa’s first ecosystem bank for freelancers and small business owners. The Aladdin app helps support the daily hustle of freelancers, individuals, and small business owners and gives them the financial tools they need. The app also aggregates all the solutions that individuals need with its APIs, SDKs, and mini-programs via partnerships. Aladdin has more than 40,000 users and has been revenue positive in its first six months. Darlington Onyeagoro founded Aladdin in November 2021. VEL

VEL, with a valuation of $9 million, is raising funds on Wefunder. It is a tech-forward work cafe that helps people work at the speed of life. The work cafe is premium and utopian and is most suitable for the new generation of workers, including freelancers. VEL is led by an experienced team and is opening its first location in Savannah’s historic district. Mo Hamzian and Jack Gunn founded VEL in September 2020. The cocktails come in stackable glass bottles that look appealing and save space. Art of Pour products come in multiple flavors and are great on taste, quality, consistency, and margins. Lifted Genetics
