NA Brews

NA Brews, a non-alcoholic brewery in Chicopee, MA, is raising funds on MainVest. The brewery is creating a demand for non-alcoholic brews and removing the stigma of enjoying non-alcoholic beverages. The brewery has a diverse line of products and plans to expand through a production facility and retail location. Ezra Bleau founded NA Brews in August 2020. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum target of $200,000 and a maximum target of $250,000, will be used to purchase a 22 feet box truck and proprietary dealcoholized equipment. NA Brews is aimed towards the mission of normalizing sobriety and making healthy and tasty non-alcoholic beers.

 

Lochiel Brewing

Lochiel Brewing, a brewery in Mesa, AZ, is raising funds on MainVest. It is a 10-barrel full-electric brewhouse, with several 7-barrel and 15-barrel fermenters. The brewery produces a range of Scottish-style, strong malt-forward beers. Ian Cameron founded Lochiel Brewing in 2015. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum raise of $10,000 and a maximum raise of $50,000. The funds will be used for purchasing additional equipment to increase production and expand product offerings. Lochiel Brewing has already created brand recognition for its beers and caters to the Scottish/Irish community in Arizona. The brewery plans to expand its bottling, production volume, and marketing to increase sales and revenues.

 

Ferndale Project

Ferndale Project, a brewery in Ferndale, MI, is raising crowdfunding on MainVest. The brewery offers great beer, excellent delivery service, and delicious food. The company has innovated during the pandemic and reopened with grace and care. Dayne Bartscht founded Ferndale Project in September 2019. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum goal of $50,000 and a maximum goal of $250,000. The funds will be used to stabilize operations due to unanticipated growth during the coronavirus pandemic. Ferndale Project has continuously reinvented itself and is on pace to meet 2020 revenue projections. The brewery has launched the largest direct to customer beer delivery service in Michigan.

 

Fanbase

Fanbase, with a pre-money valuation of $20 million, is raising funds on StartEngine. It is a subscription-based social media network that allows users to monetize their content and earn. The users can either grow organically for free or pay for a subscription to exclusive content. Isaac Hayes III founded Fanbase in October 2019. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum raise of $10,000 and a maximum raise of $1,069,996, will be used to put out more content, engage with the community, and generate more revenue. Fanbase is building a new ecosystem and combining the social network and monetization platforms. It already has over 12,700 organic users and a 227% user growth in the first year of its launch.

 

Honeyfund

Honeyfund, with a pre-money valuation of $19 million, is raising funds on StartEngine. It is a honeymoon wedding gift registry that allows couples to receive financial support from their friends and family for their honeymoon experiences and wedding-related costs. It makes gifting exciting and straightforward. Sara Margulis founded Honeyfund in 2009. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum goal of $9,999.48 and a maximum goal of $1,069,999.56. Honeyfund has already funded more than one million couples, with $640 million in gifts from 6 million givers. The company is planning to expand into supporting friends and family through life’s milestones and mishaps.

 

Shark Wheel

Shark Wheel, with a pre-money valuation of $34.9 million, is raising crowdfunding on WeFunder. The company has reinvented the wheel that has multiple advantages over the traditional wheel. The Shark Wheel has a longer life, a unique approach angle, less charging, and a better ability to move over rough terrain. Shark Wheel was founded by Gary Fleishman and has raised over $3.5 million in previous rounds of financing. The company has also received two government grants for the application of its technology to the farming wheel. The current crowdfunding round has a minimum target of $50,001 and a maximum target of $528,693. The funds will be used for research and development, operations, marketing, and daily business operations. Shark Wheel has recently signed a deal for US military deployment bags and a licensing deal with one of the industry leaders.

 

Climate Action Now

Climate Action Now, with a valuation cap of $7 million, is raising funds on Wefunder. Red Feather is owned by Chef Brad Bernstein. The current round of crowdfunding has a minimum goal of $50,000 and a maximum goal of $250,000. The funds will be used to restructure the setup, sustain the company, and open a retail wine shop, wine bar, ghost kitchen, and delicatessen. Red Feather has been one of the top restaurants in the Cincinnati area in the past many years and has been featured in food guides and magazines.

 

Bao Brewhouse

Bao Brewhouse, an upcoming Chinese restaurant in Denver, CO, is raising funds on Honeycomb. The restaurant will follow a never-seen-before concept and offer the best dishes from the different regions of China. The restaurant’s main level will offer a casual dining experience while the second level will offer an intimate, premium dining and tea room experience. Michael Swift founded Bao Brewhouse in May 2020. Bao Brewhouse will provide the taste, smell, and visuals of the Chinese culture, with diversity on each floor.

 

Brubaker’s Cafe and Bakery

Brubaker’s Cafe and Bakery, a coffee shop in Sumter, SC, is raising crowdfunding on MainVest. The cafe uses locally-sourced ingredients and coffee from local farms to provide something good to the community. The price point of the goods is accessible to most people, and the products are healthy and delicious. Jeff Chaney and Jacob Mullikin founded Brubaker’s Cafe and Bakery in October 2018. Brubaker’s Cafe and Bakery is led by an experienced team with years of experience in restaurant management and a passion for baking.

 

Booxby

Manta Biofuel

Manta Biofuel, with a valuation cap of $6 million, is raising funds on Republic. The company is using algae to make a renewable and cost-efficient replacement of crude oil. The algae biofuel will have net negative carbon dioxide emissions and will be a direct fossil fuel replacement. Ryan Powell founded Manta Biofuel in June 2018 and has raised over $3 million in previous rounds of financing. The current crowdfunding round has a minimum raise of $25,000 and a maximum raise of $1,070,000, and the funds will be used for growth and expansion. Manta Biofuel has raised funds from the US Department of Energy and State of Maryland and has signed $1 million in LOIs.

 

SCRAP Film

SCRAP Film, a film highlighting the homeless crisis, is raising crowdfunding on Wefunder. It is a story about the increasing number of people living in their cars or in tents along the sidewalk. The proceeds will be used for new product development, enhancement of customer support functions, software development for user data accumulations, and working capital. VibeTech Enterprises won McKnight’s Excellence in Technology Innovator of the Year Gold Award in 2020.

 

Follow Her: A Thriller Film

Follow Her: A Thriller Film is raising crowdfunding on Wefunder. It is a cautionary tale that looks into the dark side of social media and reveals a woman’s alarming journey in search of likes and followers. Follow Her: A Thriller Film is directed by Sylvia Caminer, produced and written by Dani Barker, and produced by Michael Indjeian. Virtual World Computing

Virtual World Computing, with a valuation cap of $5.2 million, is raising crowdfunding on Funders USA. The company is helping internet users make money using their online data. Virtual World Computing has developed a new app named Cocoon MDR that assists in the monetization of user data easily and without collecting users’ personally-identifiable information. Jeffrey Bermant founded Virtual World Computing in 2008. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding campaign, with a minimum target of $20,000 and a maximum target of $250,000, will be used to scale and expand the Cocoon MDR program to 160 countries. The product suite of the micro mobility company includes electric scooters and bikes that are made by world-famous designers to maximize their efficiency. Usain Bolt and Kamyar Kaviani founded Bolt Mobility in 2018. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum goal of $10,000 and a maximum goal of $1,070,000. The funds will be used to expand and grow, widen the global network, and improve the lives of millions. Bolt Mobility has already raised over $30 million since its inception and plans to offer a full suite of tools for micro mobility.

 

Little West

Little West, with a valuation cap of $8 million, is raising funds on Republic. The company makes farm-to-bottle cold-pressed juice that is pressed and bottled in 48 hours. The juices are made from healthy and locally-sourced ingredients that promote taste and nutrition. Cassandra and Andrew Walker founded Little West in June 1991. 2Sisters 2Sons

2Sisters 2Sons, a family-run takeout restaurant in Pennsylvania, is raising funds on Honeycomb. The restaurant offers Caribbean cuisine to its customers and provides catering services and serves at food events. 2Sisters 2Sons is owned by Marline Siddo, Denise Josephs, Michael Brown, and Kwasi Prince. The current crowdfunding round has a minimum target of $50,000 and a maximum target of $70,000. The funds will be used for a down payment on a new location, purchasing equipment, utilities, inventory, signage, and working capital. 2Sisters 2Sons plans to keep itself a small franchise and branch out to other states to bring the Jamaican flavors to different communities.

 

Swedesboro Brewing Company

Swedesboro Brewing Company, a taproom brewery in South Jersey, NJ, is raising crowdfunding on Honeycomb. The brewery makes exceptional beer of the highest quality using traditional methods of brewing. The current product line has 11 beers, including Lager, Pilsner, American-Style IPA, and Juicy IPA. Marvin Bowe and Kevin Bain founded Swedesboro Brewing Company in July 2019. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum raise of $30,000 and a maximum raise of $150,000, will be used towards brewhouse equipment, production, and operations. Swedesboro Brewing Company also plans to produce a line of non-alcoholic beverages, starting with Root Beer and followed by Ginger Beer and more.

 

FloraScentials

FloraScentials, with a $3 million valuation cap, is raising funds on Wefunder. The company is developing innovative products to add fragrance to non-fragrant cut flowers by altering the plant diet. It is in talks with a major fragrance company for the supply of fragrant essential oils and is in the process of identifying natural and safe ingredients. Randy Weiss founded FloraScentials in 2018. Sugarfina
