Serenity Cafe

Serenity Cafe is raising funds on Honeycomb. It is located in the business district of downtown Raytown, MO. The cafe offers an escape to a community oasis for the finest coffee and freshly made food to order. Rebecca Tolbert founded Serenity Cafe. The campaign proceeds will be used for purchasing a food truck to expand and branch, purchase the building, increase hourly wages and for working capital.

 

Lepley and Co

Lepley and Co. is raising funds on Honeycomb. It is a plant and floral boutique with a huge selection of tropical house plants, plant supplies, a full-service florist division, and boutique-style goods crafted by dozens of area makers, artists, and small businesses. The Lepley & Co management team is all female, and the company is a proud supporter of LGBTQ initiatives and values. Justin Lepley founded Lepley and Co. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $15,000 and a maximum target of $50,000. The campaign proceeds will be used for floral delivery vehicles, refinancing high-interest credit card debt, and cash on hand to help provide a cushion between expenses and receipt of Accounts Receivable.

 

Dope Pieces Puzzle Company

Dope Pieces is raising funds on Honeycomb. As a socially minded and minority-owned business, Dope Pieces creates puzzles using beautiful images of Black and Brown people and culturally positive themes from well-established artists. The puzzles have a strong content base and are beautiful enough to frame and hang. Kristina Hale founded Dope Pieces in 2019. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $15,000 and a maximum target of $50,000. The campaign proceeds will be used for manufacturing and shipping for an order of 6,000 puzzles, administrative support, advertising and promotion, storage facility, shipping and shipping supplies.

 

Baked True North

Baked True North is raising funds on Honeycomb. Baked True North has created not only the most unique and delicious gluten-free products, but a community around “gluten-freedom”.  Baked True North is currently located in Bellevue in a commercial kitchen in a residential location (without a storefront). The new location will be a bakery/storefront with enough space to serve the north of Pittsburgh from the North Hills all the way to Cranberry. Lauren Marts founded Baked True North in 2016. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $120,000 and a maximum target of $175,000. The campaign proceeds will be used for securing and opening a storefront and quadrupling the capacity.

 

Inebriated Baker

Inebriated Baker is raising funds on Honeycomb. The company is a woman-owned specialty vegan, boozy bakery located in Lexington, Kentucky. The Inebriated Baker is capitalizing on the distillery and craft beer explosion in Kentucky (especially Lexington), as well as the growing national interest in bespoke cocktails and small-batch confections. Danielle Rowell founded the Inebriated Baker in 2008. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $20,000 and a maximum target of $100,000. The campaign proceeds will be used to expand, upscale, and modernize the commercial kitchen footprint and equipment and to launch new store locations.

 

MetaMorph Jewelry Studio

MetaMorph Jewelry Studios raising funds on Honeycomb. MetaMorph Jewelry Studio is an end-to-end jewelry manufacturing business. The company’s primary product is handcrafted metalwork jewelry, fabricated from raw materials like bronze, 925 sterling silver and 14k gold filled. Sarah Daigneault founded MetaMorph Jewelry Studio in 2015. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $15,000 and a maximum target of $25,000. The campaign proceeds will be used to place larger orders to lock in lower pricing and to expand the manufacturing equipment.

 

Pip & Lola’s

Pip & Lola’s, a handmade soap company in Pennsylvania, is raising crowdfunding on Honeycomb. The company makes barely-scented vegan and vegetarian soaps using natural plant and vegetable oils, botanicals, and natural essential oils. Samantha Story-Camp and Bruce Story-Camp founded Pip & Lola’s in 2011. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $15,000 and a maximum target of $16,000. The campaign proceeds will be used towards a retail build out. 

 

M.O. Food & Distribution

M.O. Food & Distribution, a producer creating smoked seafood products and poultry products, is raising crowdfunding on Honeycomb. M.O. Food’s smoked dried shrimp market serves African, Asian, Hispanic, and international markets, as well as wholesalers. Poultry customers are buying from M.O. because they produce hard to find fully smoked uncooked chicken similar to smoked uncooked turkey necks. Ojetemola Ojemuyiwa and Omosolape Ojemuyiwa founded M.O. Food & Distribution in 2020. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $30,000 and a maximum target of $150,000.  The proceeds of the current crowdfunding campaign will be used for increased staff, marketing and promotion, inventory, rent, wifi. and miscellaneous equipment.

 

Flavors of the Isle

Flavors of the Isle is raising funds on Honeycomb. The restaurant serves American soul food and Jamaican cuisine. It has developed homemade jerk seasoning and jerk sauces, which highlights the unique flavors of the menu. Ebony Williams founded Flavors of the Isle in 2016. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $15,000 and a maximum target of $50,000. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding campaign will be used for operations, construction, equipment, architect services and rent and Wifi.

 

Great Blue Brewing

Great Blue Brewing is raising funds on MainVest. Located in Boscawen, New Hampshire, Great Blue Brewing is a producer of high-quality hand-crafted ales and lagers. Each beer is crafted with extreme attention to detail, using the highest quality products produced both locally and nationally. Great Blue Brewing was founded by Chris Waldron and Andrea Waldron in 2020. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $40,000 and a maximum target of $150,000. The campaign proceeds will be used for equipment and buildout.

 

Heritage Club

The Heritage Club, a Boston and Massachusetts provisionally licensed adult use cannabis dispensary located in Charlestown, MA. is raising funds on MainVest. The Heritage Club is seeking investment to renovate and open a location. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $20,000 and a maximum target of $250,000. The campaign proceeds will be used for building out the location.

 

Wicked BOLD

Wicked BOLD, a vegan foods brand in Flower Mound, TX, is raising funds on MainVest. The company makes small-batch vegan chocolate using organic and ethically sourced cacao from Belize. The chocolate is handmade, healthy, and delicious and made with just three ingredients. Deric Cahill and Brooklyn Cahill founded Wicked BOLD in September 2019. The current crowdfunding raise has a minimum goal of $25,000 and a maximum goal of $74,000. The funds will be used towards a business vehicle wrap, packaging, chocolate materials, and payroll runway.

 

Main Street Phoenix Workers Co-op

Main Street Phoenix Workers Co-op is raising funds on Wefunder. The company is built around a group of restaurant & social enterprise vets building an employee-owned restaurant group. The Main Street Phoenix Project is looking to acquire and invest in main street businesses which are at risk or considering not opening due to the COVID-19 pandemic and current economic crisis. Jason Wiener founded Main Street Phoenix Workers Co-op in 2020. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $100,000 and a maximum target of $1,07,000. The campaign proceeds will be used to integrate restaurants into the MSPWC umbrella and to hire additional C-suite roles and marketing.

 

Straight Teeth Solutions

Straight Teeth Solutions, with a valuation of $19.96 million is raising funds on Netcapital. Through its US patent pending business model, it provides consumers with doctor-supervised clear aligner treatment, at a more affordable price than most existing DIY clear aligner companies and typical orthodontic providers. Straight Teeth Solutions’ products are made in the USA and have successfully treated more than 500,000 patients. Bruice Goldblatt founded Straight Teeth Solutions in 2019. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $10,000 and a maximum target of $1,070,000.  The campaign proceeds will be used for marketing, employee salaries, loan payments, and app development.

 

The Distillery at South Shore

The Distillery at South Shore is raising funds on Honeycomb. This project will give new life to a historic landmark, the Joseph S. Finch & Co building, the last pre-prohibition whiskey distillery in the city of Pittsburgh. The Distillery at South Shore seeks to leverage the burgeoning farm-to-table, locally sourced, craft, and artisanal trends in the marketplace. Street Food, with a $1.5 million valuation, is raising funds on Wefunder. Street Food is looking to close the gap between eager food lovers and amazing street food vendors. Street Food is a software-as-a-service application that will allow vendors to show their profile and location to the rest of the app users. Humbleroots Apothecary

Humbleroots  Apothecary, with a valuation of $3 million, is raising funds on Wefunder. The company provides plant-based, all-natural alternatives to traditional over-the-counter and pharmaceutical medications. It has secured a strategic partnership with one of the largest CBD-centric retailers in the United States. The Humbleroots team is composed almost exclusively of military veterans. Chris Manus and Frances Alicea founded Humbleroots Apothecary in 2020. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $150,000 and a maximum target of $250,000. The campaign proceeds will be used for expanding inventory, marketing/PR, payroll, R&D, cash reserves, and business development efforts.

 

NXT Water

NXT Water, Makers of Akeso, with a valuation of $10 million, is raising funds on Wefunder. The company is an innovator in science-backed ultra-functional beverages using CBD and plant powered hydration. NXT Water developed an immunity and endurance product with more potency of zinc & Vitamin D than any other beverage on the market. Todd Waks and Tommy Stephenson founded NXT Water in 2018. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $75,000 and a maximum target of $1,000,000. The campaign proceeds will be used for sales and marketing, point of sale materials and sampling, product/working capital, and operating expenses.

 

SoMee

SoMee, with a valuation of $18.7 million, is raising funds on Republic. SoMee’s mobile apps streamline the user experience to allow users to be social and earn rewards on the go. It is a blockchain-enabled application. The company had ad revenue of $3 million in the first year. Christopher Krmaer founded SoMee in 2013. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $25,000 and a maximum target of $1,070,000. The campaign proceeds with be used for general and administrative costs,  marketing, and product development. 

 

B-Boy’s Family BBQ

B-Boy’s Family BBQ is raising funds on SMBX. The company is a Black-owned family business that all started with some weekend get-togethers over the grill. Located in the Bay Area, B-Boy’s Family BBQ is a BBQ catering service that the locals enjoy year round.  Brian Brown and Roshawnda Brown founded B-Boy’s Family BBQ in 2019. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $25,000 and a maximum target of $100,000. The campaign proceeds will be used for working capital and purchasing a catering truck.

 

Marek Landscaping

Marek Landscaping is raising funds on Honeycomb. The company designs and builds ecological landscapes with a focus on monitoring, research, and stewardship. The team at Marek Landscaping includes designers, scientists, and contractors who bring out the highest performance of ecological systems. Marek Landscaping has already generated 19 original specifications for the Wisconsin DOT and has forecasted to triple its gross revenue to $3 million within the next three years. Mike Marek founded Marek Landscaping in 2021. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $20,000 and a maximum target of $107,234. The campaign proceeds will utilize the funds toward a down payment of $450,000 on a construction loan for Marek’s new base of operations on Milwaukee’s outer harbor

 

Kaye Bakes

Kaye Bakes is raising funds on Honeycomb. Named as a Best Kept Secret and aHidden Gemof Atlanta, Kaye Bakes is looking to expand to more than just pastries. -The company wants to purchase a cafe space and open a drive-thru coffee shop. Co-founder Natasha Birge is also an internationally trained chef. Natasha Birge and Dwight Baker founded Kaye Bakes in 2015. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $30,000 and a maximum target of $ 80,000. The Complete Experience is raising funds on Honeycomb. The company is a salon and spa offering an array of beauty services including precision haircutting, expert color, and relaxing facial services. The Cutting Edge & The Complete Experience are owned by a mother-daughter duo and has been a staple in Racine, WI for more than 20 years. Brooke Hesse and Kathleen Hesse founded The Complete Experience in 2016. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $10,000 and a maximum target of $20,000. The campaign proceeds will be used for start-up costs for a new location and updates to the existing business.

 

Engineurix

Engineurix, with a $5 million valuation, is raising funds on Netcapital. The company’s product – Intellihat – is a mass-market, consumer health device in the form of a wearable hat. It’s designed to slow the effects of cognitive decline due to natural aging. Intellihat was founded by two pioneers in the field of neuromodulation, Jeffrey E. Arle, MD, PhD and Jay L. Shils, PhD. They’ve authored more than 150 research papers and are the editors of, as well as contributing authors to the leading texts. The current round of crowdfunding has a minimum target of $10,000 and a maximum target of $2,000,000. The campaign proceeds will be used for research and development, manufacturing, engineering, design materials, and increased hiring.

 

Tahiti’s Breeze

Advanced AI Solutions

Advanced AI Solutions, with a $53.9 million valuation, is raising funds on Netcapital. The company aims to be one of America’s top producers of fast-response, fire-suppressing drones.  Advanced AI Solutions has exclusive license to use just under 200 global patents and patent applications with production based in the US. AI software built into the drones allows early detection of fires and powerful, autonomous extinguishing capabilities. Yuen Mao founded Advanced AI Solutions in 2020. GoBeep

GoBeep, with a $10 million valuation, is raising funds on Wefunder. The company has developed a platform for sharing personal data that puts security first. Security is built-in from the ground up, including the power for people to own their personal information. The company increased customer acquisition by 6x month-over-month for the last three months. Paul Della Maggiora and Dean Rogers founded GoBeep in 2019. The current round of crowdfunding has a minimum target of $400,000 and a maximum target of $900,000. GrassTB

GrassTB, with a $5 million valuation, is raising funds on Wefunder. The company is revolutionizing the way we make paper by making paper from grass instead of trees. Grass replenishes itself much faster while trees must grow for 15 years before being harvested. Grass costs at least 40% less than trees to acquire, produce, and maintain. Hyperlight has developed the product with funding and technology development support from the US Department of Energy, California Energy Commission, and the Southern California Gas Company RD&D Program. Flip Group

Flip Group, with a valuation of $18 million, is raising funds on Wefunder. The company is bringing the fun back to online dating with a safer and more authentic experience. Flip is the only dating app that requires profile picture verification. With almost 30,000 reviews, the app has a five star rating in the App Store. Oliver Heartmont founded Flip. The campaign proceeds will be used to fund marketing for new hires, paid advertising, IT,  and product development.

 

CoPeace

CoPeace, with a $37.4 million valuation, is raising funds on Wefunder. The company aims to create a new form of inclusive capitalism. It is making impact investing available to everyone, regardless of race, gender, background, or income level. CoPeace invests in growing companies and positive social impact and allows investors to participate in the growth. The company was founded by Craig Jonas in 2018 and has raised more than $2.6 million since its founding. The current round of crowdfunding has a minimum raise of $50,009 and a maximum raise of $4,526,19. The campaign proceeds will be used for acquisitions and future holdings, marketing, and compensation to employees. 

 

Island Savoy

Island Savoy is raising funds on Wefunder. It is a community grocery located at Bay Station in the heart of Alameda. It features organic produce, locally sourced foods, craft beer and wine, a full-service deli and an espresso bar. Island Savoy was founded by Mike Stevens who has 15 years of experience in the food industry. The current crowdfunding round has a minimum goal of $50,000 and a maximum goal of $250,000. SapientX

SapientX, with a pre-money valuation of $7.92 million, is raising funds on StartEngine. The artificial intelligence software developed by the company provides voice and intelligence to products. The voice technology of SapientX can interact with users naturally and is applicable to vehicles, robots, telework, and consumer goods. The software is complete, with prototypes delivered to Mitsubishi, Yamaha, Murakami, NEC, Haier, KTM and 20 more. SapientX was founded by David Colleen, Maclen Marvit, and Bruce Wilcox and has raised more than $1.2 million since its inception. The current crowdfunding round has a minimum goal of $10,000 and a maximum goal of $4,810,000. The campaign proceeds will be used for sales, marketing, R&D, operations, and patent filing.

 

JelikaLite

JelikaLite, with a pre-money valuation of $11.1 million, is raising funds on StartEngine. JelikaLite is developing Cognilum, an innovative solution to permanently reduce a child’s autism symptoms. Cognilum is a therapeutic wearable device. It combines non-invasive brain stimulation with infrared light, EEG sensors, and an AI personalization platform. Luxury Travel Hackers

Luxury Travel Hackers, with a pre-money valuation of $15 million, is raising funds on StartEngine. The company is leveraging influencers and content to make vacations bookable via social media. Luxury Travel Hackers is catering to the booming Millennial demand for easy, meaningful, stress-free booking and leveraging the explosive growth in influencer marketing. The company is planning a full go-to-market company launch in Q1 2022. Gary Kohn and Katie Warner founded Luxury Travel Hackers in 2019.
