The Wine RayZyn Company, with a $20 million valuation, is raising funds on Wefunder. The company has invented a new category of antioxidant-rich dried fruit made from wine grapes. These new superfood fruits are called Wine RayZyns. The Wine RayZyn Company hand harvests premium California Cabernet, Chardonnay, and Merlot wine grapes. Instead of using the grapes to make wine, the grape clusters are put through a patent-pending drying process to create Wine RayZyns. The company was founded by cardiologist Christopher Cates and Andrew Cates. The current round of crowdfunding has a minimum raise of $10,000 and a maximum raise of $1,070,000. The proceeds will be used to accelerate sales with the hiring of two positions, web-based sales and marketing campaign, funding of inventory buildout, research and development and to protect Intellectual Properties (IP).

 

Telebionix

Telebionix, with an $8 million valuation, is raising funds on Wefunder. The company’s objective is to develop smart medical devices that are simple, effective, and life-saving while providing health tracking technologies. The product is at the prototype stage and ready for mass production. It is a simple-to-use device that allows efficient and effective home care. The company was founded by Widy Medina and Aghiath Chbib. The current round of crowdfunding has a minimum raise of $50,000 and a maximum raise of $1,070,000. The proceeds will be used for FDA compliance and related efforts, further app and communication software development, operations, and sales and marketing.

 

LeanMed

LeanMed, with an $5 million valuation, is raising funds on Wefunder. The company is taking medical products that are used in US/EU homes, over-the-counter devices or discontinued product lines to innovate and re-purpose them for life in rural health centers. The O2 Cube is the first example of this. It is a solar-powered micro oxygen product that has just been recognized by the WHO as a 2021 Innovative Health Technology for Low Resource Settings as it uses solar energy to power refurbished oxygen concentrators and compressors that bring medical oxygen. The company was founded by Mark Adkins. The current round of crowdfunding has a minimum raise of $160,000 and a maximum raise of $250,000. The proceeds will be used for engineering, build, shipment and installation, and marketing support services.

 

Unlocked Reality

Unlocked Reality, with a valuation of $4.8 million, is raising funds on Netcapital. The company is a virtual reality hardware accessories company focused on solving problems that headsets, treadmills, slidemills, and hand trackers can’t solve.  Unlocked Reality’s platform aims to transform locomotion in a virtual environment. The company was founded by Akash Bellippady in 2020. The current crowdfunding round has a minimum goal of $10,000 and a maximum goal of $600,000. The campaign proceeds will primarily be used for hiring of employees, research and development, and marketing.

 

Carmen TV Pilot

Carmen TV Pilot, with a valuation of $4.2 million, is raising funds on Netcapital.  After Eden Pictures and Carmen TV produce TV and film content in house with the mission to positively impact and transform culture through media. The pilot is a 90 minute episode as the first episode of the series The Atonement of Carmen Lizardo. Carmen is a minority female-led, true bilingual and multicultural TV streaming show. Jaco Booyens is the CEO and producer and Philipa Booyens is the writer and CCO.  The current crowdfunding round has a minimum goal of $10,000 and a maximum goal of $1,050,000.

 

Online Stores

Online Stores Inc., with a pre-money valuation of $42 million, is raising crowdfunding on StartEngine. The company is a retailer and manufacturer based in New Stanton, PA that sells a variety of niche items from English tea to LED lighting. Online Stores mission is to provide a one-stop hub for small companies to grow their sales and sell their merchandise, without having to invest in their own warehouse or website. Online Stores websites get a combined 15 million visits a year and serve 500,000 customers annually. The company was founded in 2001 by husband-and-wife duo, Kevin and Lisa Hickey. The current round of crowdfunding has a minimum raise of $10,000 and a maximum raise of $5,000,000. The campaign proceeds will be used for inventory, working capital, acquisitions, and operations.

 

Scinovia

Scinovia, with a pre-money valuation of $89.3 million, is raising crowdfunding on StartEngine. The company’s mission is to produce state-of-the-art diagnostics to help doctors make more data-driven decisions during procedures. Scinovia developed VUFLOW, the future of non-contact imaging diagnostics for blood flow during surgery. The company was founded in 2014 by Jim Sund. The current round of crowdfunding has a minimum raise of $10,000 and a maximum raise of $1,070,000. The campaign proceeds will be used for marketing, additional hiring, inventory, and working capital.

 

National Energy Improvement Fund

National Energy Improvement Fund is raising funds on Raise Green. The company offers loans to people of all income levels to reduce carbon emissions and energy costs. The loans are used for heating, cooling, roofing, insulation, and other energy and resilience measures. National Energy Improvement Fund has already financed more than 5,000 energy and resilience projects. It is led by an experienced team of energy financing innovators responsible for more than $800 million in financing. Peter J. Krajsa and Matthew H. CGB Green Liberty Notes

CGB Green Liberty Notes is raising funds on Raise Green. The company is a part of Connecticut Green Bank and aims to accelerate green energy adoption in Connecticut. It focuses on supporting small businesses that are advancing energy efficiency and helps them in reducing their energy costs. The company has mobilized more than $2 billion of investments into the clean energy economy of Connecticut. Bryan Garcia founded CGB Green Liberty Notes in October 2021. Lucky Buns

Lucky Buns is raising funds on SMBX. The food joint is present at four locations in Washington, DC, and serves delicious burgers. The burgers of Lucky Buns are hand-formed, seasoned to order, and cooked to perfection. Additionally, the pickles, sauces, and spreads are also made in-house in small batches using locally-sourced ingredients. Navisyo

Navisyo, with a valuation of $25 million, is raising funds on Wefunder. The online platform is committed to uniting world travelers and connecting travelers across the world with boat owners to provide authentic, affordable, and safe travel experiences. The three revenue streams of Navisyo will include Floatel stays, Voyage opportunities, and Event spaces. Navisyo will charge minimal services fees, between 12% to 18%, for its boat offers. It expects to reach gross annual revenue of $1 million in the first year. Alexander Michaels founded Navisyo in April 2020.
