SanMelix Laboratories

SanMelix Laboratories, with a pre-money valuation of $23.8 million, is raising funds on StartEngine. The company is making patented wound dressing formulations using buckwheat honey. The advanced wound care dressings of SanMelix Laboratories aim to prevent hospital-acquired infections and address the antimicrobial resistance crisis. Diana Sabacinski founded SanMelix Laboratories in January 2017 and raised more than $1 million in the previous round of crowdfunding. The current round of crowdfunding has a minimum target of $9,999 and a maximum target of $3,930,001.50. The raise proceeds will be used for growth and expansion. SanMelix Laboratories is helping people heal with honey. Its dressings use three mechanisms of wound healing, including autolytic debridement, skin regeneration, and anti-microbial claim.

 

Lil Mama’s

Lil Mama’s, a sandwich place in Chattanooga, TN, is raising funds on MainVest. It is a spunky and hip hoagy shop with 90s nostalgia and a modern vibe. The sandwiches are made using high-quality ingredients, and customers are busy taking photos or bobbing their heads to their favorite 90s music while waiting for their food. Tiffany Paulson-Banks founded Lil Mama’s in August 2020. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding raise, with a minimum goal of $10,000 and a maximum goal of $75,000, will be used towards equipment, working capital, expansion of catering services, and a new customer-driven point of sale system. Lil Mama’s has a following of more than 7,600 on Instagram and Facebook and has a loyal customer base.

 

SelfDecode

SelfDecode, with a pre-money valuation of $34.9 million, is raising crowdfunding on Wefunder. The company has developed an AI-based platform that analyses DNA, labs, and the environment to provide personalized health recommendations. The SelfDecode platform gives targeted supplement, diet, and lifestyle recommendations to the users. Joseph Cohen founded SelfDecode in April 2019. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum goal of $50,000 and a maximum goal of $1,069,999, will be used for marketing, product development, and hiring. SelfDecode works on a recurring revenue model and generates a predictable revenue stream from subscriptions. The company’s revenue grew by 360% from the fourth quarter of 2019 to the fourth quarter of 2020.

 

PeerBie

PeerBie, with a $6 million valuation cap, is raising funds on Wefunder. The company offers workplace management solutions not just for big businesses but also for small and medium-sized businesses. The all-in-one app, MyWork, is democratizing digital workplace management and increasing productivity and teamwork. Semih Secer founded PeerBie in April 2018. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum raise of $70,000 and a maximum raise of $250,000. The funds will be used towards payroll, marketing, R&D, and growth. PeerBie went from zero to 400 customers in the first three months and booked $115,000 in revenue for the second quarter of 2021.

 

HearMe

HearMe, with a valuation cap of $5.75 million, is raising crowdfunding on Wefunder. The company has developed a mobile health platform to improve mental wellness and address the global loneliness crisis. The platform connects people anonymously to a trained listener for them to talk and share their unique life experiences. Adam S Lippin founded HearMe in April 2018. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum goal of $100,000 and a maximum goal of $1,000,000, will target Salesforce integration, the building of a university pipeline, launching HearMe Premium, and product development. HearMe has reported more than 115,000 downloads and more than 375,000 interactions, with 92% of users feeling better after just one conversation.

 

DAO Labs

DAO Labs, with a pre-money valuation of $12.5 million, is raising funds on StartEngine. The company makes dietary supplements and lifestyle products that combine the traditional principles of Chinese medicine with modern convenience. The solutions of DAO Labs are born in nature and not in a lab and bring new ways of health and healing. John G. McGarvey founded DAO Labs in October 2015. The current crowdfunding round has a minimum raise of $9,998.39 and a maximum raise of $1,069,997.53. The proceeds will be used to expand the customer base, the product offerings, and the telehealth initiative. DAO Labs has an established portfolio of products with incredible customer testimonials and a growing customer base.

 

The Drivers Cooperative

The Drivers Cooperative, a ride-hailing platform, is raising crowdfunding on Wefunder. The platform is owned by the drivers themselves and helps them get a larger share of the fare. The drivers also get democratic control over the decisions that impact their lives. The Drivers Cooperative was founded by New York City drivers in April 2020. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding raise, with a minimum target of $50,000 and a maximum target of $2,500,000, will be used towards payroll for engineering, marketing, and operations teams, rider and driver marketing, and SG&A expenses. The Drivers Cooperative has more than 3,000 drivers recruited to the platform and has completed 2,000 trips since its launch in May 2021.

 

Shark Wheel

Shark Wheel, with a pre-money valuation of $40.4 million, is raising crowdfunding on WeFunder. The company has reinvented the wheel in a way that has multiple advantages over the traditional wheel. The Shark Wheel has a longer life, a unique approach angle, less charging, and better ability to move over rough terrain. Shark Wheel was founded by Gary Fleishmanin December 2018. The company has also received three government grants for the application of its technology to the farming wheel. The current crowdfunding round has a minimum target of $50,000 and a maximum target of $4,471,308. The funds will be used towards research and development, operations, inventory, marketing, and placing large purchase orders. The wheels of the Shark Wheel have various applications, including luggage, farming, printing industry, medical applications, office chairs, casters, skateboards, and many more.

 

Altair

Altair, a mental wellness-focused live streaming service, is raising funds on Wefunder. The platform aims to make content creation a more mentally healthy industry by focusing more on transparency, mindfulness, safety, consent, identity, and eventuality. All the features aim to be mindful of the overall health of creators. Bryan Veloso founded Altair in July 2020. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum goal of $100,000 and a maximum goal of $2,500,000, and the proceeds will be used towards bringing members of the founding team on full-time, extending operations runway, and third-party CDN costs. Altair is led by an experienced team and focused on the safety and wellbeing of creators and their communities.

 

Casa W Distillery

Casa W Distillery, an upcoming distillery in Wyomissing, PA, is raising crowdfunding on MainVest. The business will be the first distillery of Pittoro rum in Pennsylvania. It will also have a tasting room bar for tastings and curated cocktails and drinks. Waldemer Caraballo and Madeline Rodriguez founded Casa W Distillery in June 2020. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding raise, with a minimum target of $55,000 and a maximum target of $85,000, will be used towards space buildout, equipment, and operating capital. Casa W Distillery will also sell its craft rum to bars, restaurants, and liquor stores in the state and region.

 

Crowns & Hops Brewing Co.

Crowns & Hops Brewing Co., with a pre-money valuation of $16.4 million, is raising crowdfunding on StartEngine. It is a world-class craft brewery that has gained global recognition with its diversity, inclusion, and racial equity. The brewery serves black and brown craft beer lovers and focuses on quality products. Teo Hunter and Beny Ashburn founded Crowns & Hops Brewing Co. in December 2018. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum goal of $10,000 and a maximum goal of $1,070,000, and the funds will be used to increase brand awareness and obtain more resources. Crowns & Hops Brewing Co. sold more than 18,000 cases of beer at 800 locations throughout California, Oregon, Nevada, New York, and Georgia in the first year of beer production.

 

Gerostate Alpha

Gerostate Alpha, with a $15 million valuation cap, is raising funds on Wefunder. The pharmaceutical company is making drugs that slow down tissue aging. The unbiased drug development pipeline of the company addresses multiple functional domains of aging, including cardiovascular, muscular, neurological, and metabolic. Simon Melov founded Gerostate Alpha in June 2018. Gerostate Alpha delivers drug candidates to slow aging with a success rate of 20%. The company is currently testing its products on aging mice.

 

prep2grow

prep2grow, with a $10 million valuation cap, is raising crowdfunding on Wefunder. The company has developed an AI-based platform to take the stress out of investing. The platform combines Big Data and AI to predict future events of a company to show how a company will perform and what could be done to improve the performance. Brian Gaspar founded prep2grow in July 2020. The current crowdfunding round has a minimum raise of $50,000 and a maximum raise of $250,000. The proceeds will be used for sales and marketing, scaling tech infrastructure, and operation expenses. prep2grow has more than 8,000 subscribers and reported a 61% month-over-month revenue increase.

 

Shaman Productions

Shaman Productions, with a pre-money valuation of $2 million, is raising funds on Fundanna. The company makes patent-pending CBD/CBG infused formulations targeting symptoms like aging, diabetes, and herpes zoster. The business owns the new Abetyu natural products line that uses safe and effective applications of cannabidiol isolate to manage chronic medical ailments. Maria Crisler founded Shaman Productions in June 2019. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding campaign, with a minimum goal of $10,000 and a maximum goal of $1,070,000, will be used for product development, working capital sales, product marketing, and campaign marketing expenses. Yae! Organics

Yae! Organics, with a pre-money valuation of $7.91 million, is raising funds on StartEngine. The company makes skincare products, snacks, beverages, and supplements using the highest quality fruits and vegetables. The products of Yae! Organics make it easy for individuals to meet their daily quotient of fruits and vegetables. The company was formerly formed as Foy Foods, which was dissolved in 2019 to create Yae! Organics. Yae! Organics was founded by Lorenzo Holley, a third-generation farmer. The current round of crowdfunding of the company has a minimum goal of $9,999.36 and a maximum goal of $534,999.24. The proceeds will be used for diversifying the product line, targeting food desert markets in new areas, developing and launching the Yae! Everyday app, and building vertical farms. Yae! Organics has more than $500,000 in lifetime sales and reported a 225% growth from 2019 to 2020.

 

Innovative Eyewear

Innovative Eyewear, with a pre-money valuation of $20 million, is raising funds on StartEngine. The company makes smart and affordable eyewear with Bluetooth capabilities. The wearers can talk on the phone, listen to music, and control mobile functions through voice assistants. The smart eyewear of Innovative Eyewear acts like headphones and glasses and works to provide digital connectivity in addition to vision correction. Innovative Eyewear was founded by Harrison Gross, David Eric Cohen, and Konrad Dabrowski in 2019. The current round of crowdfunding has a minimum goal of $9,996.48 and a maximum goal of $499,994.88, and the proceeds will be used to bring the eyewear in a lightweight format and launch the Vyrb social media app. Innovative Eyewear has a strong intellectual property portfolio with exclusive rights to 24 patents.

 

Filthy Filly’s BBQ Watering Hole & Steak House

Filthy Filly’s BBQ Watering Hole & Steak House, a BBQ joint in Nipomo, CA, is raising funds on MainVest. The business started as a catering truck, turned into a food truck, and is now opening its restaurant. It serves steaks and beer with big hearts, lots of laughs, and lots of love. Colleen Marlett founded Filthy Filly’s BBQ Watering Hole & Steak House in January 2019. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum raise of $45,000 and a maximum raise of $90,000, will be used to complete renovations of the current location. Blue Pizza

Blue Pizza, an upcoming pizzeria in Columbia, SC, is raising crowdfunding on MainVest. The pizzeria will feature specialty pizza crusts like Sweet Black bread, Honey Whole Wheat, 7 Grain, or traditional New Jersey style. The offerings of Blue Pizza include Shrimp Scampi, Chicken Marsala, and Italian Carbonara on homemade pasta or on a pizza. John Fredericks founded Blue Pizza in June 2021. Blue Pizza will also serve wine, beer, small-batch ice cream, frozen yogurt, and smoothies.

 

Maine Craft Distilling

Maine Craft Distilling, with a valuation cap of $15 million, is raising funds on Republic. The company makes farm-to-flask small-batch spirits. The award-winning spirits of Maine Craft Distilling are made with natural ingredients and come in six distinct and delicious flavors. Luke Davidson founded Maine Craft Distilling in January 2012. The current crowdfunding round has a minimum raise of $25,000 and a maximum raise of $1,070,000, and the funds will be used to grow the team, expand distribution outside of the Northeast, and innovate. Maine Craft Distilling generated $2.6 million in revenue in 2020, with a 122% Sparkling Craft Cocktail Growth in 2020.

 

LearnDay

LearnDay, with a valuation cap of $11 million, is raising crowdfunding on Wefunder. The company has developed a platform to disrupt higher education with HIRE education. The platform offers accredited training for regulated industries and industry-recognized skills certifications. Jacques Wong founded LearnDay in July 2020. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding campaign, with a minimum goal of $150,000 and a maximum goal of $1,070,000, will be used towards marketing, operations, expansion, and life insurance licensing course development and regulatory approvals. LearnDay has more than 11,000 users with more than 20,000 enrollments in the Canadian insurance industry alone. The cumulative sales for the last twelve calendar months exceeded $400,000, with total lifetime sales of $820,000.

 

Skycart

Skycart, with a valuation cap of $19 million, is raising crowdfunding on Wefunder. The company has cost-effective delivery drones that aim to improve the lives of people in disadvantaged communities. Currently, Skycart drones are being used to distribute vaccines, blood products, and medical supplies in developing countries. Simon Yuen founded Skycart in January 2015. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $50,000 and a maximum target of $1,070,000. The proceeds will be used for R&D, manufacturing, maintenance, marketing, and business development. Skycart has $4 million in signed purchase orders, up from $200,000 in 2015. The lubricants of Reverend Motors lower the cost of maintenance products and bring more value to customers. Kolton Freck, Kory Freck, and Daniel Hill founded Reverend Motors in February 2021. The current crowdfunding round has a minimum raise of $40,000 and a maximum raise of $100,000, and the funds will target marketing, product development, operations, and legal expenses. Reverend Motors has manufactured the industry-first coffee-scented 2-stroke oil and has received a consistent number one best-seller badge on Amazon.

 

Metallum3D

PsiloThera is led by an experienced management team and aims to deploy quantum technology to shorten the drug development time.

 

ITBiometrics

ITBiometrics, with a valuation cap of $20 million, is raising funds on Wefunder. The company has developed the technology to use biometrics for securing financial transactions. The technology allows users to perform financial transactions without passwords and pins by verifying fingerprints using a thermal signature. Howard Prager founded ITBiometrics in 2018. It produces, buys, and licenses high-quality content and sells it to Netflix, Amazon, and Walmart. Thomas Ashley founded Invincible Entertainment Partners in May 2014. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum target of $50,000 and a maximum target of $1,070,000, will be used for marketing, new hires, content, and acquisitions. Invincible Entertainment Partners has already reached more than 300 million in content reach and 1.6 billion monthly ad impressions. The company makes money every time someone buys, watches, or rents Invincible content.

 

Safo Hair

Safo Hair, with a $5 million valuation cap, is raising funds on Wefunder. The company is developing a CBD-infused hair care line to promote hair and scalp health. The product line of Safo Hair is clean, non-toxic, and conscious and helps to restore the health and hydration of hair and scalp. Ellana Stinson founded Safo Hair in October 2020. The current crowdfunding round has a minimum goal of $30,000 and a maximum goal of $250,000. The raise proceeds will target manufacturing costs, advertising and marketing, social media, product development, and safety testing. Safo Hair is pre-revenue with a current waitlist. The company has also won the EforAll Accelerator Pitch Competition and Level Pitch Competition.

 

Philly’s on the Hill

Philly’s on the Hill, an upcoming American restaurant in Richmond Hill, GA, is raising crowdfunding on MainVest. The restaurant will serve classic American comfort food, including Philly cheesesteaks, hot dogs, burgers, hoagies, Cuban sandwiches, and shaved ice. Angela Morales founded Philly’s on the Hill in June 2021. The current crowdfunding round has a minimum target of $45,000 and a maximum target of $70,000. The funds will be used towards renovations, food products, rent, kitchen supplies, business signs, and interiors. Philly’s on the Hill aims to hire local people who will be courteous to the local customer base. The business will also use the best ingredients for authentic taste.

StartEngine Real Estate

StartEngine Real Estate, the real estate division of StartEngine, is raising funds on StartEngine through Reg A+ crowdfunding. The company aims to expand the horizon of StartEngine investors and provide them the opportunity to diversify their portfolio with real estate. Investors will receive 6% preferred returns on their investment annually and may also receive monthly dividends. StartEngine Real Estate was founded in 2020 and is led by Michael Chesser as the Asset Manager. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum raise of $1,000,000 and a maximum raise of $75,000,000, will be used to acquire a diversified portfolio of residential and commercial real estate properties. StartEngine Real Estate is signed to trade on StartEngine’s secondary market and may offer potential liquidity to investors.

 

Basil Street Cafe

Basil Street Cafe, with a pre-money valuation of $40 million, is testing the waters on SeedInvest through Reg A+ crowdfunding. The company has developed an automated robotic pizza kitchen that makes delicious and affordable pizza in under three minutes. The technology is patented and aims to disrupt the global pizza market. Deglin Kenealy founded Basil Street Cafe in 2016. The current crowdfunding round has a minimum goal of $1,000,000 and a maximum goal of $20,000,000. The funds will be used for product development, engineering, commercialization, personnel expenses, and repayment of debt. Basil Street Cafe has completed an initial pilot program at multiple locations across the US and targets deployment in the field by fall 2021.
