prostainable, a low-waste lifestyle store in California, is raising funds on Honeycomb. The business sells more than 70 refillable products and allows customers to bring their own bottles to the stores and refill. The company also gathers communities and uses outdoor space to provide wellness classes. prostainable is currently the only refill shop in the San Fernando Valley and is working towards diverting 1 million single-use bottles from waste and recycling streams. Laura Yochum founded prostainable in July 2021. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum goal of $30,000 and a maximum goal of $75,000, will be used to expand the business to two more locations, hire staff, pay down loans, and expand distribution. 

 

Pyro’s Pastrami

Pyro’s Pastrami, a pastrami business in Berkeley, CA, is raising crowdfunding on SMBX. The business focuses on high-quality ingredients and exceptional customer service. Its pop-up menu includes hand-carved pastrami sandwiches, triple-cooked fries, matzo soup, and pizza. Pyro’s Pastrami has been featured in the SF Chronicle and has filmed a short documentary with Vice’s Munchies. Cash Caris and Anahita Can founded Pyro’s Pastrami in July 2018. The current crowdfunding round has a minimum target of $25,000 and a maximum target of $100,000. The proceeds will be used to purchase equipment and build out its first brick-and-mortar location soon.

 

MicroVision Optical

MicroVision Optical, with a valuation cap of $5.5 million, is raising funds on Wefunder. The company makes ultra-premium and affordable eyewear sold directly to customers. The business has multiple patents, decades of technological innovation in reader design, and proven expertise in manufacturing and logistics. MicroVision Optical has already sold more than 1 million pairs of readers and sunglasses. The readers have also made it to Oprah Winfrey’s Favorite Things list. David Johnson founded MicroVision Optical in September 2010. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum goal of $300,000 and a maximum goal of $1,070,000, will be used for social media marketing campaigns, website rework, employee retention, inventory, and overhead costs. 

 

JOGO Health

JOGO Health, with a valuation cap of $20 million, is raising crowdfunding on Wefunder. The company makes wireless and wearable sensors that provide treatment for neuromuscular conditions and break the pain-anxiety muscle tension cycle. The device is connected to a patent-protected mobile app that provides treatment protocols and games that work on neuromuscular reeducation, movement coordination, and leveraging neuroplasticity. JOGO Health devices treat more than twenty neuromuscular conditions and have been used with more than 2,000 patients. Sanjai Murali and Siva Nadarajah founded JOGO Health in June 2010. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum raise of $500,000 and a maximum raise of $3,500,000. The proceeds will be used to complete a chronic lower back pain clinical trial at Harvard Brigham and Women’s Hospital, buy inventory, set up a patient support call center, and expand on the current success in India. 

 

Rojo’s Famous

Rojo’s Famous, with a pre-money valuation of $4 million, is raising funds on MicroVentures. It is a frozen breakfast food company that makes frozen pancakes using its proprietary pancake cooking process. The pancakes are filled with real and wholesome ingredients. Rojo’s Famous’ products are found at major stores, including Safeway, Wegmans, and Central Market HEB. The company generated more than $1.28 million in revenue in 2020, up 271% from 2019.  Robert J Selfridge founded Rojo’s Famous in May 2017. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $25,000 and a maximum target of $249,999. The proceeds will be used for marketing, R&D, manufacturing line, and general working capital. 

 

Hexanika

Hexanika, with a pre-money valuation of $14 million, is raising crowdfunding on StartEngine. The company has developed an AI-driven data platform to provide a simplified, cost-effective, and labor-efficient solution towards regulatory compliance for banks, financial institutions, and insurance companies. The platform provides better data quality and increased auditability for regulators. Yogesh Pandit founded Hexanika in 2014. The current crowdfunding round of the company has a minimum target of $9,996 and a maximum target of $1,069,992. The raise proceeds will be used to become the leader in the driverless data management industry. 

 

Lips

Lips, with a $3.5 million valuation cap, is raising crowdfunding on Wefunder. The company has designed a community-specific social media platform and marketplace to improve the mental health and financial wellbeing of women, non-binary people, and the LGBTQIA+ community. Lips had more than 10,000 users in its first month and has been featured in Mashable, Forbes, Huffington Post, and Maxim. The platform also has a patent-pending blockchain application to prevent biased censorship, harassment, and plagiarism. Annie Brown founded Lips in July 2019. The product rapidly deploys, and its design is ideal for use with traffic safety and control, construction site protection, and natural resource conservation. Joseph Daniluk founded WaterBlocks in 2015. The current crowdfunding round has a minimum goal of $10,000 and a maximum goal of $1,070,000, and the funds will be used for growth and expansion. 

 

Unum Health

Unum Health, with a pre-money valuation of $3 million, is raising funds on NetCapital. The company offers innovative solutions in the home care industry. The software-as-a-service company has both an agency and employee interface and helps home care agencies organize their operations. Unum Health has already raised $1 million to build and scale the platform and has pilot projects with 500 users approved. Lisa Williams founded Unum Health in April 2021. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum raise of $10,000 and a maximum raise of $107,000, will be used for development, support, sales, and marketing. 

 

Goodwolf

Goodwolf, with a valuation cap of $1 million, is raising funds on MicroVentures. The company produces bottled water kefir, a fermented drink made of water and a symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeasts.  The probiotics of water kefir play a significant role in maintaining gut health. Goodwolf has distribution agreements with UNFI and KeHE and sold more than 11,000 cases in 2020. The company also increased its retail door count from 140 to 300 from January 2020 to April 2021 and was profitable in the first quarter of 2021. Goodwolf was founded by Keenan Smith in 2016. The current round of crowdfunding has a minimum raise of $25,000 and a maximum raise of $194,000. The funds will be used for marketing, research and development, equipment purchases, general working capital, and slotting. 

 

Emrod

Emrod, with a valuation cap of $17 million, is raising crowdfunding on Republic. The company has developed technology for wireless power transfer  for commercial purposes. The research and development team of Emrod has used advancements in radar and metamaterials technology to develop wireless long-distance energy transmission. Emrod has already developed its proof of concept and prototype systems. The company has several MOUs for pipeline projects and has its first partner abroad. Greg Kushnir founded Emrod in April 2021. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum raise of $25,000 and a maximum raise of $1,070,000, will be used to continue the development of technology and introduce new and more efficient versions of the product. 

 

Tapville

Tapville, with a $28.1 million pre-money valuation, is raising funds on StartEngine. The company offers a technology-inspired food and beverage franchising concept that uses self-service technology and advanced data analytics. The technology helps in cutting costs and optimizing the customer experience. Tapville currently has two affiliate locations that have generated more than $5 million in lifetime revenues. The contactless concept of Tapville is expected to thrive during and post-COVID-19. The franchising opportunities come as brick and mortar, kiosk, and mobile kiosk, and revenues come through royalties and franchise fees. Joseph Tota founded Tapville in June 2020. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding campaign, with a minimum raise of $10,000 and a maximum raise of $3,930,000, will be used for growth and expansion. 

 

AquiPor

AquiPor, with a pre-money valuation of $50.3 million, is raising funds on StartEngine. The company has developed an innovative technology that is meant to revolutionize stormwater systems in cities across the US. The proprietary technology converts roads and sidewalks into permeable surfaces and filters rain as and when it falls. It helps to eliminate pollution from stormwater and replenishes the natural water cycle. AquiPor’s technology is patented and will help in reducing millions of dollars of infrastructure improvement costs. AquiPor Technologies was founded by Greg Johnson and Kevin Kunz in 2015 and raised more than $1 million in its previous round of crowdfunding. The funds from the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum goal of $9,999 and a maximum goal of $3,930,894, will be used to go to the market with its products. 

 

Forever Home Movie

Forever Home Movie, a comedy/horror feature film, is raising funds on Wefunder. The film is about a haunted house that demands you stay forever. It is in active pre-production and is already casting, scouting locations, and building the art department. Forever Home Movie is being produced in association with Third Productions and Amoroma Productions. The film is led by a diverse team with decades of film experience and has a strong female supporting cast. It is being produced and co-written by Sean Oliver and Drew Leatham, with Daniel Mendoza as the director of photography. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum goal of $20,000 and a maximum goal of $60,000, will be used towards the cast, locations, crew, food, production design, and SFX makeup.

 

Acrospire Brewing

Acrospire Brewing, a brewery in Glenshaw, PA, is raising funds on Honeycomb. The brewery specializes in traditional craft beer flavors and new classics and brews small batches. Acrospire Brewing has twelve beers on tap with rotating flavors and styles. The brewery has a 5/5 rating on Google Reviews and a loyal customer base. Eric Truscott and Gregory Long founded Acrospire Brewing in 2015. The current crowdfunding round has a minimum target of $50,000 and a maximum target of $150,000. The funds will be used to buy fermentation tanks, a brite tank, kegs, a keg washer, barware, a chiller, and a walk-in cooler.

 

Tilton Brothers Brewing

Tilton Brothers Brewing, a brewery in Hampton, NH, is raising crowdfunding on MainVest. The brewery sells excellent craft beer, including Pale Ale, American IPA, Double IPA, Mango Sour Ale, and Belgian Witbier. The food offerings include local pulled pork, local house burger blend, and local haddock. Tilton Brothers Brewing opened in March 2019 and acquired a canning line in November 2020. The company now plans to expand the business in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Joseph Chase, Ben Tilton, and Dave Tilton founded Tilton Brothers Brewing in 2017. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum target of $5,000 and a maximum target of $25,000, will be used towards operating capital. 

 

GACW

GACW, with a pre-money valuation of $27.4 million, is raising funds on StartEngine. The company has reinvented the wheel by designing its patented Air Suspension Wheel. The wheel of GACW is made of steel with in-wheel pneumatic suspension, making it airless and mechanical. GACW’s green technology provides a cost-effective and eco-friendly alternative to pollutive rubber tires. The company is in discussions with several global miners, and purchase orders for additional testing of ASWs are imminent. Dr. Zoltan Kemeny founded GACW in November 2019. Koning

Koning, with a valuation cap of $200 million, is raising crowdfunding on Republic. The company has developed a revolutionary breast imaging technology that offers real isotropic 3D imaging. The Koning Breast CT creates high-contrast 3D breast images with high spatial resolution and no painful compression. Sol Bistro St Pete
