OSM Shield, with a valuation of $20 million, is raising funds on StartEngine. The clean technology company is using sustainable and environment-friendly approaches to apply high-performance fabric finishes to textiles. It works with commercial and consumer brands to develop products with features such as stain resistance, repellency, moisture management, and antimicrobial properties. OSM Shield has developed two technologies, ZERO and V-Shield, and entered industries including upholstery, activewear, hospitality, medical, home goods, and uniform. Mark S Walker founded OSM Shield in December 2015. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $9,999.60 and a maximum target of $1,069,998.80. The campaign proceeds will be used for technology development, implementing global patent protection, and completion of regulatory registration and compliance work.
