But wait! All hope is not lost -- at least, not if you have the Perchance app. Perchance wants to help you turn that passing glance into a second chance. Here’s the deal: Instead of lamenting over what could have been, you simply open up the Perchance app. The app locates other users that were in your immediate vicinity at the same time as you. You then look through the profiles, and if you see the person that made your heart sing, you “heart” them. If the other person “hearts” you back, the app connects you, and voila! Your love story can begin.

I know what you’re thinking. This sounds like yet another dating app. Aren’t there enough of those out there already? (Tinder, OkCupid, Bumble, Hinge, Happn….I could go on.) But see, that’s where you’re wrong. Perchance isn’t a dating app. No, no -- it’s a reconnection app. Perchance is used to find a person you already had an actual spark with (or fleeting glance, lingering stare, whatever), not force a connection with and then hope for a spark after.

The thing is, Perchance doesn’t actually, per say, exist yet. The plan is to launch the app in South Florida, a place comprised of a large singles population (over 2.5 million). This is key, since it’s going to need large user base to be successful. Their long term goal is to eventually reach the overall singles population (40 million), city by city.

With an already heavily saturated market, is another dating app really what’s needed? Only Cupid knows for certain...but, maybe, just maybe, Perchance is worth taking a chance on. And with it, you just might be able to then (re)find the person of your love dreams.
