Republic Note
About this raise
Republic Note is raising funds on Republic. It is Republic’s own digital currency used as a profit-sharing instrument with the investors. Republic Note has a finite supply and gives investors a share of the profit when selected Republic portfolio companies succeed. Whenever a company in which Republic has invested makes an exit, a portion of the cash proceeds accrues to Republic Notes, and distributions are made to the note holders when the accrual reaches $2 million. The total Republic Note supply is 800 million, of which 282 million are circulating at launch. Kendrick Nguyen, Paul Menchov, and Peter Green founded Republic in 2016. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $1 and a maximum target of $230,000. The issuer does not expect any significant proceeds from the offering; hence, there is no use for proceeds.
