It is a live social video platform that allows normal individuals and influencers to host live screening parties for popular movies. The hosts get to participate in the revenues generated from their hosted events. Neal Tiles and Kevin Pereira founded SideStream in 2015 and raised $405,000 in previous rounds of financing. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding raise, with a minimum target of $25,000 and a maximum target of $500,000, will be used for marketing, research and development, repayment of legal fees, and operations.
