Simple Labs, with a valuation of $7 million, is raising funds on SeedInvest. The company has developed a patented hardware and SaaS platform to help in wine barrel monitoring. The platform, Cogni, monitors overall barrel health by continuously monitoring temperature, humidity, free and molecular SO2, pH, acetic acid, ethanol, phenol, fill level, and internal barrel pressure. Simple Labs has won several awards for its innovation and has signed a manufacturing and engineering agreement with KWJ Engineering. Mike Slone founded Simple Labs in July 2020. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum RegCF target of $25,000, a minimum raise target of $325,000, and a maximum target of $1.24 million. The campaign proceeds will be used for research and development, device early-stage testing, device marketing, operational costs, and pre-sales team efforts.
