It is an environmental remediation company that uses technology to recycle waste asphalt shingles and remediate oil-saturated sands and soils. Sky Quarry owns an oil sand remediation facility and a 100% interest in asphalt bitumen exploration leases in Utah. The company is helping to solve the 15 million ton problem of asphalt shingle waste and reported a 211% annual revenue growth as a result of operations at Foreland Refinery. David Sealock and Marcus Laun founded Sky Quarry in 2019. The current crowdfunding campaign has a maximum target of $20 million. The campaign proceeds will be used for debt repayment, retrofit of the PR Spring facility, ASR facility, and working capital.
