Chris Best, Hamish McKenzie, and Jairaj Sethi founded Substack in November 2017. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $50,000 and a maximum target of $5 million. The campaign proceeds will be used for investing in internal teams like engineering, marketing, and operations.
