TAXA Biotechnologies develops its own engineered plants and offers its platform as a service to other companies as well. The business has over $600,000 in pre-orders for its Glowing Plant, the lowest-cost genetically-engineered plant ever sold commercially. Antony Evans founded TAXA Biotechnologies in March 2012. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $200,000 and a maximum target of $1 million. The campaign proceeds will be used to continue research and development, bring new products to the market, and launch the marketing campaign.
