The Chosen is raising funds on Angel Funding. It is a TV show about the life of Christ through the eyes of those who encountered him. The Chosen aims to capture Scripture and the events around it and enhance the impact of the story with facts and meanings. The show is already in production and will be translated into four languages, including Spanish, English, Portuguese, and French. Derral Eves and Dallas Jenkins founded The Chosen in October 2017. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $500,000 and a maximum target of $1.07 million. The campaign proceeds will be used to finalize the production of episodes 5-8 of Season 1.
