The Distillery at South Shore is raising funds on Honeycomb. A historic landmark is being reborn on Pittsburgh's South Shore. This project will give new life to a historic landmark, the Joseph S. Finch & Co building, the last pre-prohibition whiskey distillery in the city of Pittsburgh. The Distillery at South Shore will bring a convenience store, a distillery, an artisan marketplace, a tasting room, and a restaurant under a single roof. Garry McCann founded The Distillery at South Shore in August 2021. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $50,000 and a maximum target of $250,000. The campaign proceeds will be used for purchasing a fermenter, a mixing tank, a storage tank, still control panels and valves, and fixtures.
