Village Hand Pies is raising funds on Honeycomb. The business makes hand pies with a variety of flavors from across the world and stuffs them in delicious, buttery, and flaky pastry. The pies of Village Hand Pies serve a variety of people and are sold direct-to-consumer and wholesale. Village Hand Pies plans to expand its wholesale business and has interest from Cherry Capital Foods, a specialty food distributor in the Midwest. Amy and Graham Mitchell founded Village Hand Pies in August 2020. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $15,000 and a maximum target of $35,000. The campaign proceeds will be used for purchasing a payoff sheeter, a new commercial mixer, and a reach-in freezer, redesigning e-commerce and sponsoring a community fridge in Detroit.
