Wizard World, a leading producer of gaming, comic, and pop culture conventions, is raising funds on StartEngine through Reg A+ crowdfunding. The company organizes events, domestically and internationally, to celebrate the best of pop movies, gaming, toys, comics, tech, anime, graphic novels, original art, and collectibles. Each event is lined with comics-themed sessions, costume contests, evening parties, and much more. Wizard World is led by John Maatta and Paul Kessler and was founded in 1991. The proceeds of the current round of funding, with no minimum raise and a maximum raise of $10,000,000, will be used to retire a portion of the debt, invest in sales and marketing, develop a fixed-site pop culture installation, and create a reserve for future mergers and acquisitions. Wizard World has generated over $200 million in lifetime revenues and is the largest fandom expo company in the industry.
