Zelgor aims to use a freemium business model where the games will be free to play, but the company will monetize through the sales of merchandise and advertising. Zelgor was founded by John Fanning Jr in 2012. The current round of crowdfunding has a minimum raise of $10,000 and a maximum raise of $535,000, and the proceeds will be used to complete the development of Noobs in Space, launch in major markets, and to start the soft launch in test markets. To bring its game Noobs in Space to life, Zelgor is partnering with Disruptor Beam and has another game, NoobTubez, in development.
