Coexist, with a valuation of $5 million, is raising funds on Wefunder. The company has developed a platform to connect builders, homeowners, and architects to build carbon-smart high-end homes for less. Coexist received a USDA value-added producer grant that it used to design and build a backyard office kit, the Traveler Kit, with non-toxic bio-based materials. The company pre-sold 15 Traveler Kits within the first month and has been accepted into the Ben Franklin Technology Partners portfolio. Anastasiya Konopitskaya founded Coexist in February 2019. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $50,000 and a maximum target of $1.24 million. The campaign proceeds will be used for architectural design services, website creation for platform-based subscriptions, and hiring a salesperson.
