Who Should Be Interested:
Do you love Krav Maga? Are you looking for a new way to get fit and stay in shape? And, do you live in the Chelsea/Flatiron neighborhoods in NYC? If this sounds like you, then Fit Hit could be the investment you’ve been waiting for. They’re opening up a fitness boutique based on Krav Maga -- but without the person-to-person combat.
The Company:
The team that brought you the Krav Maga Academy is now bringing you a new type of fitness. Called Fit Hit, this workout utilizes the proven Krav Maga curriculum but without the person-to-person combat. Fit Hit offers an individualized, fitness-first model that empowers clients to “...achieve their fitness goals while still learning useful self-defense skills in a high-energy, fun, and safe environment.” Located in the Chelsea/Flatiron neighborhoods in NYC (aka the “Fitiron” district), Fit Hit will open in a 9,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility in May 2018. Each workout estimates to burn roughly 1,000 calories, and clients practice with human like punching bags and dummies under the supervision of a certified coach. Exercises include calisthenics, plyometric movements, and Krav Maga combinations to increase strength, speed, agility, and skill.
The Bottom Line:
Fit Hit is changing how workouts are taught and what it means to get fit. They want their clients to feel empowered, strong, and healthy...all while being able to land a mean punch and forceful kick.
