GrapeStars, with a valuation cap of $12.5 million, is raising crowdfunding on Republic. It is a unique marketplace for celebrity wines and spirits. The celebrities promote their spirits directly to the customers through the platform and users get to discover new products. The platform complies with all the state and federal laws and also allows users to interact with their favorite celebrities. GrapeStars was founded by Jean-Jean Pelletier, Robert Pelletier, Stephan Fortier, and Stefan Lindqvist in 2016. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding campaign, with a minimum target of $25,000 and a maximum target of $500,000, will be used to expand into international markets and take on new celebrity products. GrapeStars works on a 15% commission on products sold and expects to reach $100 million in revenue in the next five years.
