Kornr Store is raising funds on Small Change. The business is owned by Purpose8 Real Estate and plans to open at 6224 16th Street, Detroit. The building is planned to be renovated into a two-bedroom, one-bathroom residential rental unit with features including a community green space. The first floor of the same building will carry the Kornr Store selling essentials, including coffee, baked goods, personal goods, home goods, and small business products. Brinda Devine founded Kornr Store in December 2018. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $25,000 and a maximum target of $200,000. The campaign proceeds will be used for development costs and renovations.
