Halo Energy, a creator of micro wind turbines, is raising on SeedInvest. The company has a valuation cap of $4 million. Halo Energy is using a patent-pending shroud technology to develop efficient and small-scale wind turbines. The company aims to generate energy through green energy sources and intends to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Halo Energy was founded by Oliver Foley and Vin Loccisano. The current crowdfunding round has a total round size of $1.5 million. Halo Energy has strong potential as it has already applied for eight provisional patents and has executed a contract with Shenzhen Valley Ventures.

automed, with a valuation cap of $7 million, is raising seed capital on SeedInvest. The company is offering a single system for managing livestock medication automatically. The system integrates easily with the farm management tools, and helps the users to calculate, deliver, and record livestock treatments. automed was founded by David and Samira Edwards in 2012. The current crowdfunding round has a total round size of $1.3 million. automed looks like a good investment as it already has more than 175 registered enterprises and has generated sales of $700,000 to date.


Bahari Energy


Bahari Energy, with a post-money valuation of $2 million, is raising funds on StartEngine. The company is redefining wind energy by the use of wind tower and green technology. Bahari Energy is bringing in an adaptation of the traditional wind tower in the form of a wind window to cool the residences in the Middle East. Bahari Energy was founded by Habib Bahari in July 2013. The current round of crowdfunding has a minimum target of $10,000 and a maximum target of $107,000. Bahari Energy has bright prospects as it is partnering with NASA Goddard Space Flight Center for the advancement of new technologies.


Medford Brewing Company


Medford Brewing Company, a Massachusetts based beer maker, is raising funds on WeFunder. The company has been a profitable beer maker for over two years and plans to open a brewery now. It creates four different styles of brewed beer using locally-grown hop. The product lines include American Pale Ale, American Golden Ale, India Pale Ale, and Double India Pale Ale. Medford Brewing Company was founded by Nick Bolitho and Max Heinegg in 2016. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a maximum target of $701,000, will be used to open the first brewery in Medford. The products of Medford Brewing Company are already available in more than 150 stores, and the company operates at a per barrel profit margin of 27%. The current quarterly revenues are $48,192 which are expected to increase to $346,591 after the brewery opens.


Bein’ Carib Inc.


Bein’ Carib, with a pre-money valuation of $4.2 million, is raising funds on StartEngine. Bein’ Carib is an application and website to help users find anything and everything related to the Caribbean. It is a one-stop-shop directory for all the Caribbean countries, festivities, communities, restaurants, food, and stores. The idea for Bein’ Carib was born in December 2017 in the mind of Andrew Anderson, and the app is still in the development stage. Bein’ Carib is one of its kind and offers niche information. It is a safe investment option for conservative investors.


II Transatlantic, Inc.


II Transatlantic, Inc., a visual communication company operating through Instant Imprints, is raising on StartEngine. The company has a post-money valuation of $8 million. II Transatlantic, through Instant Imprints, provides everything that a company needs to promote its brand. The products and services include customized t-shirts, banners, promotional products, and digital document services. Ralph Askar formed the business in 1992 while the company was incorporated in 2015. The current round of crowdfunding has a minimum raise of $10,000 and a maximum raise of $1,070,000. II Transatlantic is growing as a franchise business and has won several awards, including CFA Franchisees choice for five years in a row.


WaterRR


WaterRR, with a pre-money valuation of $3.9 million, is raising crowdfunding on StartEngine. WaterRR is bringing innovation in the cleaning of wastewater with the use of BioHaven technology. The company generates revenue while working socially towards the cleanup of wastewater and prevention of the release of harmful greenhouse gases. WaterRR was founded by Bruce Kania in 2018. The current crowdfunding round of the company has a minimum target of $10,000 and a maximum target of $1,070,000. WaterRR is bringing a paradigm shift in small-town sewage treatment while using solar thermal and solar electric components.


CallingDr


CallingDr, a telemedicine and mobile health platform, is raising on StartEngine. The company has a pre-money valuation of $5.8 million. CallingDr offers a mobile platform for patients and doctors to interact with each other. The platform, thus, increases accessibility, availability, portability, and manageability during planned and unplanned medical needs. The parent company of CallingDr, MyApps Corp., was launched in 2015 by Adnan Malik, Dr. M. Shaukat, and M. Kashif Akram. CallingDr, a HIPAA piece of software, is currently being used at more than 20 practices in six states.


Ghost Tequila


Ghost Tequila, with a post-money valuation of $17.29 million, is raising funds on NetCapital. The company creates unique-tasting spiced tequila which is perfect for spicy margaritas. Ghost Tequila works in a three-tiered business model and supplies to wholesalers and distributors. The company was founded by industry veterans Chris Moran and David Gordon in 2016. The current round of crowdfunding, with a minimum raise of $10,000 and a maximum raise of $1,000,000, will help in geographical expansion and sales and marketing initiatives. Ghost Tequila has already established itself as one of the top 53 tequila brands and is present in over 3,000 locations nationally.


entreDonovan Wholesale


entreDonovan Wholesale, a 3D designed apparel company, is raising funds on StartEngine. The company has a post-money valuation of $3 million. entreDonovan Wholesale creates customized women apparel for professional women, using 3D technology. The workflow used by the company helps to reduce alterations and remakes, and the time taken to take measurements. entreDonovan Wholesale was founded by Linda Farquhar and Fangfang Zhang in August 2018. The current crowdfunding round has a minimum target of $10,000 and a maximum target of $1,070,000. Overall, the company is offering a competitive edge to both the professional women and retailers.


Homefree


Homefree, with a valuation cap of $5 million, is raising on WeFunder. The company makes “one cookie for all.” The cookies of Homefree are peanut free, gluten free, egg free, dairy free, and tree nut free. Therefore, they can be consumed by anyone, including people with food allergies. The Homefree cookies have won several awards for taste and health. Homefree started in the basement of the home of founder, Jill Robbins, in 2005. The current crowdfunding round is set to launch on February 26, 2019. Homefree has reported an average sales growth of 34% in the past three years, with a margin of 42% in 2018.


Eden GeoPower


Eden GeoPower, with a pre-money valuation of $9.99 million, is raising crowdfunding on StartEngine. The company is combining renewable energy and blockchain to revolutionize the energy industry. Eden GeoPower is developing off-grid geothermal resources and creating value in the form of a security token. It was founded by Paris Smalls and Ammar Alali in 2017. The current crowdfunding round has a minimum target of $10,000 and a maximum target of $1,070,000. Eden GeoPower seems to be an excellent investment as it targets the future. The company is harnessing power from the Earth’s core and using it to meet the energy demands of the world.
