Leagueswype

 

Leagueswype, a fantasy sports app with a pre-money valuation of $5.1 million, is raising funds on StartEngine. The app serves as the most convenient way to collect and distribute league fees and makes it easy for the league commissioners to collect and pay winning transparently. Leagueswype was founded by Darius Grandberry in June 2016, and the beta version is already live.

 

The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum raise of $10,000 and a maximum raise of $1,070,000, will be used for the mobile application development and UX/UI design enhancement. Overall, Leagueswype is meant to elevate the fantasy sports players’ experience through its array of functionalities.

 

DADA

 

DADA, a marketplace for tokenized digital art, is raising crowdfunding on SeedInvest. The company, with a valuation cap of $10 million, is a hybrid between technology, an art project, and a marketplace. It is a unique social network where artists create visual conversations and collaborative art that can be traded as non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

 

DADA was founded by Beatriz Ramos, Judy Mam, and Abraham Milano in 2014. The current crowdfunding round has a minimum target of $750,000 and a maximum target of $1,500,000, and the proceeds will be used for development, marketing, operations, and legal expenses. DADA already has over 160,000 members from over 60 countries who have created more than 110,000 drawings.

 

Bellwether Housing

 

Bellwether Housing, a nonprofit building affordable homes, is raising funds on WeFunder. The company has owned and operated affordable homes in Seattle since 1980 and is building 750 new homes this time. These homes will support more than 2,400 residents and will be located close to public transport, schools, and community resources. Bellwether Housing has Susan Boyd as its CEO and Cheryl DeBoise as the COO. The company has already raised $3.77 million since its founding, and the current round of crowdfunding has a goal of $200,000. The proceeds of the raise will be used for the development and construction of the 750 apartments. Bellwether Housing has a solid track record and already owns and operates over 2,100 affordable homes in Seattle.

 

Personal Airline, Incorporated

 

Personal Airline, with a pre-money valuation of $3.7 million, is raising funds on StartEngine. The company is bringing data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence into air charter to create custom travel. The platform will allow users to specify days, airports, and times to create an on-demand request which will be aligned with other travelers to form a per-seat on-demand flight.

 

Personal Airline was founded by Mike Azzarello and Bruce Sawhill in 2015. The current crowdfunding round has a minimum target of $10,000 and a maximum target of $107,000, and the proceeds will be used to launch the working version of the system in mid-2019. Personal Airline is at the brink of launch and will use behavioral economics, big data, and flight optimization to generate a win-win for both the company and the users.

 

Sly Fox Brewing Co.

 

Sly Fox Brewing Co., a top craft brewery in Pennsylvania, is raising funds on WeFunder. The company already has brewpubs at other locations and is looking at opening two new locations in Pittsburgh. It is known for its award-winning brews, excellent food, nice ambiance. Sly Fox Brewing Co. also undertakes events to introduce itself to new customers and strengthen relationships with existing customers.

 

Sly Fox Brewing Co. was founded by the Giannopoulos family in 1995. The current crowdfunding round has a minimum goal of $300,000 and a maximum goal of $550,000, and the proceeds will be used for the buildout, equipment, business development, and marketing. Sly Fox Brewing already has a strong reputation and decades of experience in the brewpub business and has won several awards for outstanding craft beers.

 

SanMelix Laboratories

 

SanMelix Laboratories, with a pre-money valuation of $6.56 million, is raising funds on StartEngine. The company is creating a wound dressing formulation by combining the natural healing properties of buckwheat honey and some bioactive enhancements. The patents for these wound-care products are pending. SanMelix Laboratories was founded by Kenneth A. Sabacinski and Diana Sabacinski in 2017.

 

The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum raise of $10,000 and a maximum raise of $107,000, will be used to complete the testing of the products and to prepare an inventory. The products of SanMelix are the first-ever honey-based formulations, and they are being tested currently by the US Air Force.

 

Caribu

 

Caribu, with a valuation cap of $5 million, is raising crowdfunding on WeFunder. The Caribu platform allows parents and grandparents to read and draw along with their children through video calls. The technology of Caribu aims towards reducing the boredom of video calls and making them interactive and fun, even when the parents and kids are not at the same location. Caribu was founded by Maxeme Tuchman and Alvaro Sabido in 2016 and has raised about $1.3 million in previous rounds of funding.

 

The current crowdfunding round has a minimum target of $50,000 and a maximum target of $1,000,000 and is expected to launch on June 21, 2019. The proceeds will be used to hire a VP of Growth Marketing and for marketing. Caribu already has more than 50,000 users in over 160 countries who spent 250,000 minutes on Caribu last year.

 

Hidrent

 

Hidrent, a digital marketplace for off-duty firefighters, is raising funds on MicroVentures. The company allows people to avail home services from the off-duty firefighters who, in turn, get the opportunity to supplement their income. There are two separate apps for consumers and firefighters.

 

Hidrent was founded by David Heimbuch in 2017 and has a valuation cap of $3.5 million. The current crowdfunding round has a minimum raise of $25,000 and a maximum raise of $107,000, and the proceeds will be used for customer acquisition, technology development, and expansion. Hidrent had a total of 30,000 app downloads in the first quarter of 2019, and the average job size completed exceeded $209 in the same quarter.
