New River Project is raising funds on Andes Capital. It is a utility-scale solar and energy storage project in development by Solariant Capital. The project is located at a 500 acres site in Bradford County, Florida, that began development in the second quarter of 2020 and is expected to complete in the fourth quarter of 2024. New River Project aims to generate over 200,000 MWh in the first year and bring about an annual carbon offset of more than 159,000 tons. Daniel Kim and Kevin Kohlstedt founded the New River Project in May 2021. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $50,000 and a maximum target of $1.7 million. The campaign proceeds will be used for project management, project development, working capital, and loan repayment.
