Painterland Sisters, with a valuation of $15 million, is raising funds on Wefunder. It is a fast-growing organic yogurt brand that makes Icelandic-type skyr yogurt. The business uses milk from its family’s farm and other farms in the area that use less energy and release fewer carbon emissions than conventional farms. Painterland Sisters sells its yogurt through 1,500 locations in 45 states and has generated $1.3 million in sales. Hayley Painter and Stephanie Painter founded Painterland Sisters in August 2020. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $150,000 and a maximum target of $1.2 million. The campaign proceeds will be used for inventory purchase, co-packing, staff, trade spending, marketing, and paying down debt.
