Houston Dynamo legend and all-time leading scorer, Brian Ching, knows what it’s like to score big on the soccer field. Now, he plans to score big in another type of the field -- the restaurant and bar field, that is.
Ching plans to open up Pitch 25, a sports bar and restaurant in Houston. Named for a “football pitch” (what England calls a soccer field) and Ching’s jersey number, “25,” the 25,000 square foot restaurant and bar will offer high-end bar food, an extensive tap list, and show soccer matches (and other sports) from around the world on over 20 TVs. There will also be an outdoor beer garden. And the kicker? There’s going to be a soccer field in the restaurant itself - Pitch 25’s very own pitch! Soccer fans don’t just get to watch soccer there -- they get to play it. Guests will be able to privately rent the field, or participate in leagues, pickup games, scheduled gatherings, and mini-tournaments.
Pitch 25’s location is very strategic, as it will open within one mile from the stadiums for the Astros, Rockets, and Dynamos, as well as a major convention center. Plus, within a five mile radius is more than 407,000 Houston residents who spend more than $670 million annually on eating and drinking out. With all that potential traffic, along with its unique in-house soccer field, Pitch 25 is predicted to earn $3 million in revenue in its first year.
Local news coverage is already extensive, and Pitch 25’s management team is the same one that already owns and operates successful local projects like Wooster’s Garden and Heights Bier Garten. In other words, it’s easy to see see why Pitch 25 is set up to score big.
Ching believes that the fans have always been a huge part of his success, and now he wants to give back and share this opportunity with them. When it comes to soccer, sports, and family fun, the more the merrier -- and that’s what Pitch 25 is all about.
“Who Should Be Interested in This Offer:”
If you’re a local Houston soccer -- or sports -- fan, or if you want a place where you can play a game and enjoy a beer with friends, then Pitch 25 should be catching your attention. It offers something no other bar in Houston does, and it’s owned by Brian Ching, who knows what it means to score big and win a championship. Investing in Pitch 25 is a way for you to score a goal -- both literally on its soccer field, and figuratively with your bank account.
