The German King
[Closed for Investment] The German King is raising funds on Angel Funding. It is an upcoming multi-season series based on the life of Rudolf Douala Manga Bell, a German-raised African prince. The prince becomes king after his father’s death and returns to Cameroon to find grief, oppression, and death. The German King has been screened as a short film at various film festivals and aims to offer the viewers an unseen view of African valor. The film is produced by Chris Freeman and Hanna Sturwold, edited by Stephanie Filo, and written by Glenton Richards. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $380,000 and a maximum target of $4.8 million. The campaign proceeds will be used for production expenses, post-production expenses, advertising and marketing, administrative expenses, and contingency.
