Whatz2Eat, with a valuation of $7.5 million, is raising funds on Wefunder. It is a mobile app that helps people cook meals using the food they have on hand. The swipe screen of the app enables users to indicate when they need to eat and for how many guests and curates five meal ideas to choose from. Whatz2Eat’s Food Image to Recipe technology is 99% accurate and consists of over 1 million verified recipes. Richard DeRose and Deirdre DeRose founded Whatz2Eat in February 2021. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $50,000 and a maximum target of $1.24 million. The campaign proceeds will be used for technology development, marketing, and general and administrative expenses.
