[Closed for Investment] Apis Cor, with a valuation of $134 million, is raising funds on StartEngine. It is a robotics technology design and manufacturing company that uses the technology to 3D-print full-scale houses. The company aims to provide structural 3D printing robotics to developers and homebuilders to reduce the cost of building. Apis Cor began its journey with a tiny home in snowy tundra and grew to make the world’s largest 3D printed office in a desert metropolis. Nikita and Anna Cheniuntai founded Apis Cor in 2019. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $10,000 and a maximum target of $5 million. The campaign proceeds will be used for 3D-printing more houses, introducing cement-free concretes, and expanding to more 3D printers and construction in space.

Edge
Apis Cor is launching a 3D printing robot capable of building the walls for up to three house floors.
I would love to brag to friends that a robot built my house. But, aside from the novelty factor, what I really like is that Apis Cor can reduce total construction costs by up to 30% (according to the company), diminish waste, and significantly reduce construction time. Apis Cor’s robot is not only very cool, but it can also help increase US housing capacity -- and, critically, it can do so at more affordable prices.
Apis Cor’s timing is perfect. The global 3D printing construction market is just gearing up for takeoff.
