The company designs and sells its proprietary H-type wind turbines and develops projects that use the Wind Harvest technology. The turbines, Wind Harvesters, are compact and vertical-axis wind turbines that are durable and based on years of research. Wind Harvest has several revenue streams, including direct and distributor sales, own projects, and licensing for the installation and growth of wind turbines. Kevin Wolf founded Wind Harvest in January 2006. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $10,000 and a maximum target of $2.5 million. The campaign proceeds will be used for turbine components, shipping, assembly, installation and foundations, security deposit on turbine installation, blade extrusion dies and tools, engineering, project development, sales and marketing, debt reduction, and general and administrative expenses.
