The platform challenges the status quo of conventional data protection and provides unhackable data security with its distributed encryption key management. Atakama’s technology locks each piece of data with its own encryption key, and the key is then split across multiple devices. Atakama has grown its annualized revenue by ten times in the past year and now exceeded $1 million. Daniel H. Gallancy and Dimitri Nemirovsky founded Atakama in March 2014. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $1 million and a maximum target of $5 million. The campaign proceeds will be used for hiring staff, marketing and sales, research and development, and operating capital.
